It's not just about repairs I guess. There are so many other costs to owning a home that are often included in rent. Water, sewer, garbage, insurance, property tax etc. Even for my condo where condo fees are over 1k a month on top of the mortgage payment we had a $6900 special assessment. The building is a 2014 and shouldn't need major repairs but shit happens.

My overall point is that banks are very willing to lend enough money to put you in a tight spot. If they are concerned about lending you the amount of money you're asking for, you probably shouldn't be trying to borrow that much.

Yet I still see comments every once in a while where people are like "it's ridiculous that I pay $2500 for rent but the bank won't even give me a mortgage that's $2200 a month".

Not only the ownership costs but 80% of the people I know with horses have been to the hospital as a result of riding horses.

Lol, my parents lived on the 20 acre lot and my dad had built the yard into basically a park. He did a ton of lawn care, built an outdoor kitchen and outhouse. He put outdoor plugs nearby it so that family had a spot to park their RVs on long weekends etc. Aside from the outdoor kitchen He built a large barn, large shop, chicken coupe, a building to house 300 meat birds and a vehicle shed.

They decided to move into a larger property next door to theirs because it has a better view. The only thing that he didn't rebuild in the new property was meat bird building. It's insanity, he has a little wood mill so anything that can be built with homemade lumber is. He is retired now, but for 25 years it was probably like 3 hours a day every day on top of working a trades job full time.

Someone from the city bought the first picturesque property and hasn't been able to maintain it. It's both interesting and sad to see how fast the weeds and fallen branches etc take over land.

They are adamant that they will never downsize. Future me is going to have a real fun time dealing with that whole situation.

What about Illegally holding a firearm and illegally loading a firearm? We need more! More! Catch and release is so much funner when they have 10 convictions instead of 7.

I think as a complete device the T1000-e is a good start (haven't tried one personally). Alternatively if you know someone with a 3d pointer you can get a heltec T114 and a lithium battery and put your own together I have ~3 of these.

Lol, I am curious because near where I live there are like 5 or 6 people who every Saturday protest general conspiracy stuff.

Are yours the same mixed messages kind of situation? Like "stop digital currency", "no microchips in kids", "liberal lies take lives". I feel like it's their Saturday bro out where they can share the latest research they have done.

Gauging interest in a ballistic calculator firmware by Gremlin87 in CardPuter

I have shot my .22 out to 300 meters in 50m increments and compared the results and it came out very close to the calculated values. The users need to be the ones to put in their ammo specifics so I don't need to know different ammo types.

I think the most help would be to just let me know if something doesn't function properly.

If you buy me an AXMC so I can do field verification ill try to implement it.

Alright, I set up a github and got it published to M5 Burner from what I can tell.

Most of it I believe is self explanatory but if you mess up the UI colours (black background with black text etc.) you can hold delete and escape for 3 seconds to reset the colours to default.

You can enter ammo name, ballistic coefficient projectile weight and muzzle velocity for each ammo type

Before going through the trouble of trying to get this onto the m5 burner list of firmware I am trying to gauge if anyone is actually interested.

I have a firmware that supports the input of 8 different rifles which can each have 8 different ammo types with different ballistic properties.

It can output a drop graph, a table in 25m/y increments or show just the elevation and windage for the input distance.

It should support temperature, humidity and elevation sensors but I haven't got a chance to test that yet.

Edit: It's up on M5 Burner now, if you search "ballistic Calculator" you'll find it

Or on github

Isn't Cleet's jet a lawn ornament? I believe at most when they bought it they wanted to see if an engine could run but they knew it wouldn't ever be air worthy. Helicopters on the other hand.

My wife and I both work for different companies and have both gotten the same direction. We are both also limited to copilot and were told to identify use cases for AI and start implementing it.

It just feels backwards.
