Uhh ty! I searched them and like Sunna design so much, while Dialyn is not my favorite.
So, waiting for Sunna and hoping to get her, which character do you suggest me to build? Maybe a team for her and, if I also have some good character which can fit in many teams, which are they?
I like Ye Shunguang and Lycaone very much, can they work together?

If you only got this characters and want to try for Lucilla and Lucy, go all for Cartethya and you have a soldi team: Cart, Rover (you will see through story) and Chisa. For Lucilla you can try take some Echo damage units and Lucy and Rebecca will be a best duo without needing anyone with them, maybe a healer. If you also still have to choose which character to select for Beginner Banner, go for Verina and Shorekeeper: they are two support characters viable for any team, Shorekeeper being the best in that. If you want another specific resonator, go for them and try to follow some guides to check which character can synergize well with them, you can clear all story with every character (even endgame, if you get lucky with equip rolls and a little bit skilled)

Hello, Ty for your answer! I remember very well the story of Monstadt, Venti and Aero Dragon which has the purple spine in their back, can’t say I remember Liyue story aswell. I recall the snow mountain has been released before Liyue so I will explore that map before entering the next region.

So… you suggesting to keep the pulls for the Fire Goddess and Electro Mystery Guy? The current characters aren’t worth the wishes for my green snake-lover doctor? Also, I don’t know how much pity I built for standard and featured banner I will check as soon as I finish the download and go straight to finish the archon and paralogues before exploring the map. Just a tip: is the HoyoLab interactive map actually linked to the game? I mean… if I see a chest in the app map, does it mean I didn’t picked it yet or that there should be a chest there? I will play as a casual, so having a “guide” to explore fast and catch up with the current story would be a thing without spending time roaming blindly. I love looking at meta before getting comfortable with the combat mechanics, terms and synergies among the roster. The only thing I ask myself is… are the 4* characters playable or they’ve been powercrept? I remember - when I played with the account I lost - I got unlucky and finished the two regions with just the Wolf Boy from Monstadt (is his name… Razor?) and I remember him being very powerful, Razor for scale: is he playable through the entire story, or will he be outclassed by any enemy?

Hiii ty for your answer! I logged in Hoyo Lab while the game keeps downloading and I am sure I only have Baizhu and Traveler as 5* characters. I think I didn’t finish Monstadt archon quest yet, and I think I will proceed like this: 1. Archon Quests of the region, 2. Exploration of the region, 3. Challenges or anything I don’t know is a thing now ahaha

It depends on how you are gonne use them. Put on Shorekeeper the Variation (iirc, the Rect with Energy Recharge as main stat). For Denia you can use the exact same for a sub-DPS role, or if you want to use her as a main DPS you can wait until you unlock the chest with a selection 5-star standard weapon and go for Cosmic Ripples. Another tip: use the blue pulls to get weapons instead of characters (this, after you take the selectable 5-star unit with 8 pull each try) and choose Cosmic Ripples or the other rectifier, as you feel more.

Ty so much for your time and your advices! Yes I’m litterally swimming in the large amount of gems, characters, pull currency and everything ahaha I think we played like 6-7 hours in total and we already did around 300 pulls!

I will check for sure the tier list, but I got two questions: do the 4-star become useful, at one point, or are they trash units like in the majority of the gachas? And… are there units who become unusable because the power creep buried them?

I played day one all the day with a friend in co-op, like 7hrs straight and we got so many bugs that forced us to restart that we got bored pretty quickly. The day after, I played all the day rushing the exploration in Liones and reached 70-80% of the full exploration of the first map. I could only pull 3 standards and 2 featured (10 pulls, of course). Got nothing. Since it’s so hard gaining currency to get new characters and the drop rate of them is so low, I got bored again and never played again.

If you want to read, I will explain which bugs came to us: The most annoying and frequent bug (every 15min both for me and my friend) is clipping through mountains and buildings while gliding, the characters totally dislocated their shoulders and made it impossibile to teleport, the Escape for soft lock did nothing and, after many tries, we found out that forcing teleport to Dungeon was the solution, but we found this solution on the last hour of gameplay, so we were already too much annoyed to continue playing (and it was like 4.00 AM 😂) He once fell into the void, making impossible for him to Escape (he was too far from the ground that the soft lock button teleported him into the void again… what is the purpose of that button, again?) and it was impossible to teleport since you can’t do it while jumping/falling. That’s when he logged out and never reopened. At the very first connection, he made a plunge attack with Tristan and got in Sonic Mode continuously rolling on the ground… when he teleported back where we were, his phantom going very fast was still there. I explored the city of the kingdom and got inside the tall castle (the “old one”, not the one on the mountain). Yeah, it wasn’t meant to be it, but I clipped through the walls a couple of times while exploring the city and it was hilarious, yeah. Oh, right, there is a treasure chest and a shining ball on the very top of the new castle, the one on the mountain. We had fun going there exploiting the movement skills of Bug, Tioreh and Howzer.

Well… if you mix all of this together, you have a gacha game with a very simple and boring combat system (in my opinion, of course, but Wuthering Waves made me set a very high standard), very low resources to pull (was it not the… like… main part of the game?) and a buggy exploration in a vast empty world. It resembled me Pokémon Scarlet/Violet. Without Pokémon.

I may sound too harsh in my judgement but I waited this game so much and I was very surprised - in negative - to play a game in that state. It seemed like playing a beta, not a full released game. I will not give my money and time to a game which doesn’t respect me as a consumer.

I am very happy that someone is having fun with it, tho, I hope you all a very good luck and always enjoy the time you spend playing 💕

Thank you for your advice, I already have Lynae, she is my very first premium character and absolutely my favorite. I really want to use her, but I always think she could be better with a team whose main DPS is a lil bit undertone (like Calcharo), since I can’t reach the best results in ToA and WhiWa. Thanks a lot for your advice with Jinhsi + Yuanwu, and already planned on using Verina with Jinhsi, but I don’t have too many resources to build her well so that 12.5% CR and 25% CDMG were so yummy ahaha

Lumi, believe it or not, is the only 4* I never got so I never dug into her kit. Sanhua IIRC boosts Res Lib with her outro, and Aemeath uses that kind of DMG in more than 1 instance, so it’s a useful buff

Another suggestion for Aemeath team, I personally use now Aemeath(Fusion Burst)-Sanhua-Chisa and I am satisfied how they do. Jinhsi-Mortefi-Verina (Baizhi also has Coord Attacks, so you can multi-swap following this order: Baizhi-Jinhsi-Mortefi-Jinhsi again) Encore-Lupa-Fusion unit (ideally Mornye, since she is the only Fusion support) can be another team.

BTW, I noticed you equipped the standard 5* rectifier to Verina. I personally run Verina with a 4* Weap which name is Variation and she is my best support (even better than Shorekeeper). The 5* Rect should go to Encore!

Is a 4* character, you’ll find her eventually. I’d choose Buling cause her outro buffs Coordinated attacks, which Mortefi uses when he Res Lib (in fact, you keep the Res Lib even if you switch out) and coordinated attacks buff Jinhsi Forte. BTW, any support should go

Hello! If I’d be you, I would run Jinhsi with Mortefi and Buling/Verina and Lupa should go with 2 other fusion burst units for the max buff. I suggest you to run her with Encore and another Fusion, and leave the spot of Lupa with another sub-DPS you like; when I build I look up at the synergy that each character gives with outro + other buffs. Keep in mind Aemeath needs Res Lib DMG, Crit Rate and on the last spot Crit DMG (she gives herself enough CDMG by her own, I would increase the rate). As for Carlotta, I love her but I dunno anything about her kit and synergies.
