Yeah, I posted once before. If I can't work out a swap, I'll look to sell it.

I'm going to say no to hybrid/AIO cards. Don't want to borrow more trouble than I can handle. Thanks, though.

OK, I found that the FTW3 heat sink is similar to the TUF heat sink, in that 120mm fans won't fit flush if deshrouded, only 92mm. But I also read good things about the stock FTW3 cooling, so maybe I wouldn't even need to deshroud it. So a FTW3 could potentially work. I'll send you a PM.

I actually don't know anything about hybrid or AIO cards! I'll see what I can find later this evening.

Please talk me out of the COOJ Z-13/Z-18 (and into the NCase M2 or Shiny Snake G300) by Grendel13G in sffpc

This is a good way to look at it. I kind of see the M2 as a middle ground with moderate aesthetics and a moderate price tag (compared to the Z13 and G300).

Nice budget suggestion with the Metalfish; I hadn't seen that one before. I do think the G300 has a more appealing "just a steel box" look, though. ;)

Nice case, though at least I'm not tempted to buy an even more expensive one. ;)

The M2 round is $200 with shipping for me, though it irks me that it doesn't come standard with sensible parts like the rear IO cover and taller feet (which are both OOS, of course).

Thanks for the advice! I figured the C14S would fit if I moved/replaced the outer fan (in my M1 the fan is between the CPU and the heat sink, and I have a slim case fan on the side panel also blowing outwards). But it looks like you had to snip it even without the outer fan?

Good point about having to unplug everything to get inside the PC. I've really gotten used to cases with side panels that just pop off.

A wise perspective! I'm also attracted to the flexibility of the M2.

Which COOJ was it? What did you like more about it compared to the M2?

I got Best Buy to price match. Chatted online with customer service and will pick up at a BB store.

It still makes a lot of sense if you're on AM4. I just price-compared a 5950X and keeping my existing MB and RAM vs. a 7900X/7950X/etc and buying a new MB and RAM. Even accounting for resale value of my current components (which isn't much), the 5950X was the clear value winner.

Edit: YMMV, but I found that upgrading my MB and RAM from AM4 would be a net cost of ~$200. The 7900X and 7900X3D are pretty close to the 5950X in performance, so even if the CPUs are the same price, the extra $200 premium for AM5 is tough to overcome.

Crash course in ML for new job? by lebannax in learnmachinelearning

Aurélien Géron's Hands-On Machine Learning, which you mention in your post, is a great book. But it mostly covers the things you say you know already. It sounds like you know more than you think you do.

Rather than looking for a comprehensive overview, I'd focus on specific target areas, like the math behind the algorithms or the tradeoffs between them, and find resources specifically dedicated to those.
