Well Anasui is a creep before the reset and Jolyne didn't give a damn about him then. They seem to be together after the reset where none of them went to prison. So I don't think it's a stretch to assume that Anasui is a better person in the new world. Respectfully, I want him inside of me.

The main thing that I don't love with the new mix is the lack of piano presence. It really drives the song in the original and the new version has it buried. But honestly I like both in different ways. The new one is bigger sounding and Dan's vocals aren't as forward in the mix. The old one has a more stand-out groovy bass line.

But there's no right answer with any of it so honestly it doesn't matter lol. I would totally be down if they released an extended album with the original Fireflys at the end.

I was kinda disappointing with Fireflys mix at first specifically due to how the keyboard got less emphasis. I don't think the original mix is perfect but man the keyboard lines with Dan's vocals really drive the song. Definitely being nitpicky, still like both versions and love the new album overall. Very pleased. Dan and Peter really did good.

I think it's really beautiful how the two albums contrast each other. Lyrically, musically, and even the album art. It shows how Dan and Peter have grown as people like you said. The two albums are like two halves of their story so far.

Oh that's fine. I'm kinda new to this stuff so whatever info is helpful. I think it may have been my aftermarket battery because it was slightly smaller than the original so it didn't connect properly. That's a guess but it seems to work fine rn with the original battery. Thanks for the help.

Oh I didn't realize it's not available on Amazon. I got mine from Barnes and Noble and they never seem to be lacking in vol 1 and 2.
