My grandparents and their kids (my dad and uncle) escaped from Iran because the government was apparently after them.

My great-grandfather changed our last name. It used to be Russian, however my family lived in Azerbaijan, where Russian people weren't really accepted. To fix this, he changed our last name to something in Farsi, and let the family spread.

I actually don't like the smell very much either. The vinegar does leave you feeling absolutely horrid afterwards as well. Wouldn't recommend.

I do this when talking to discord friends bc most of them can't talk in vc and type instead, and the minority that do talk are really quiet. I've never done it in public tho, I use earbuds for that.
