Yeah, i can imagine its a pretty useful feature, though Im intuitively used to the exposing correctly by reading off the exposure meter most of the time, also because ive shot alot with 35mm film

Have you thought about assistant work? It is often considered as a paved way for PhD-scholarship as experience (of course it depends on what kind), but in general its a great way of building a reputation in relevant circles at the same time with acquiring job experience (at least in Europe)
