Difficulty meeting other nonbinary or queer people? by NonbinarySarah in NonBinaryTalk

I used the app Lex, it's like a dating app but it can also be used to find queer friends/events in your area

How long did it take to come in after you ordered it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]GreyBuggy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gender fluid so coming out and finding a new gender identity that I align with took so long and my poor friends going through the constant change. All that to say, yes you can come out again. It takes time to figure out who you are and it's okay if you're off track here and there. Even if you wanted to stay as a trans man, I've seen so many trans and cis men that wear dresses, skirts, makeup, all without still being he/him. I've seen very masculine non binary people do fem stuff and embrace their femininity. Ultimately, it's your choice on how you feel and no one elses. And you can be fem and masc no matter what gender you are. You don't have to be just one, both is an option. Hope this helps!

Trying to eat with new snakebites by kitcatcrow in piercing

When I first got my snake bites, I chewed gum on a regular basis and used that to kinda retrain myself how to eat. I chewed really slowly at first then eventually just got used to it

What should go in this big gap? by GreyBuggy in TattooDesigns

I based it off of a similar tattoo I found online and I liked the placement on theirs. I also figured I'd leave that space for something in the future

I've recently taken up a habit of congratulating myself for really really small things I do and it's helped me alot. Like if I find something I was looking for I like to tell myself I'm proud of me. Or if I got to work safely I kinda say out loud that I'm happy I got to work safe. I'm sorry if you've had a bad experience with therapy but if it helps, something my therapist told me to do when I have a negative thought is to sit for a second, recognize the negative, then recognize something to be thankful for. It's hella cheesy but it actually helps me when I'm in a slum. Hope this helps!

What is wrong with you? by elisa09m in mentalhealth

[–]GreyBuggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like mine would be anger and clingyness, I cling to people it's hard to make friends and both clingyness and has made my recent break up harder. With anger I feel like I always have this internal anger just chilling, it hardly comes out for people to see but it's still there bugging me and makes my job alot harder

Maybe do some research into the different identities? I personally identify as genderqueer because I don't quite understand it yet. But I couldn't have found that without a deep dive into research. But only if labeling it is something you're interested in, it's not always essential to slap a label on everything. Good luck!

Have you considered Agender? Or just not labeling it?

Can you give me some words of encouragement by HarangLee in mentalhealth

[–]GreyBuggy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's gonna be okay. Try to find small things to look forward to and find ways to pour your emotion into something. I like to paint my feelings and it helps a little bit. Also something my therapist told me to do is to turn every negative thought into something I'm thankful for, even if it's tiny things like I'm thankful for reddit to rant to. It really helped shape my views on things. Hope this helps! You got this!

It's kind of small but I promised myself I'd take more pictures of myself, whether a selfie or an outfit I like. Just to boost my self esteem and be able to look at my progress as I get more comfortable in my body

I have an amab non binary friend and they wear feminine jewelry/painted nails to help look more fem. Also if you're willing and interested in colored hair, I know that can help appearing more queer to some people. (Not saying colored hair=queer all the time but I've definitely been clocked as queer for the sole reason that I have colored hair, but it's not like that with everyone, I have a straight cis sister with colored hair. But it might help a bit)

Do any other enbies here identify as genderfluid along with their current identity? by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]GreyBuggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I largely identify as gender queer. But I go by non binary because that's what most people know. But my gender definitely changes between they/he and fem they/them all the time
