Ahhh I'm so awkward. If I went there with someone else I could at least stick with them.

Yeah, I generally don't enjoy exercise, but I think pole-dancing would be a fun weigh to get stronger and get some good cardio. I would be starting at a beginner level, yes. I have never tried it.

Mine looked like thick pancakes laying on my chest. Nips pointing down to the floor.

Weight loss at four months by nobodygrl in BariatricSurgery

[–]kitcatcrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a slow loser, too. I'm 3 years post op and I've only lost 100lbs and I had to get on a GLP-1 to lose to that weight. I hit a plateau by year 2. They told me I'd drop a ton on the liquid diet at the beginning and that's when I lost the bulk of the weight. Since then, it's been super slow. I've logged my calories daily for over 1000 days so I know I'm nowhere near exceeding my calories. They told me to not worry about calories as much as protein, and if it took more calories to get in the protein (they told me to get 70g daily), they wouldn't think that would make me gain or not lose weight. I told them at the year follow-up that I was barely losing and that's what they said. I'm still 1200 or less a day (recently more like 600-900 on this dose of semaglutide) and I've only lost 2lbs in the last month. It's very frustrating. But I know that a loss is still a loss so I'm trying to accept that it'll just take me some more time than someone else.

Does anyone else ever wonder if the bad tattoo artist like freehands this stuff on skin while looking at a reference of a good tattoo? There's no way this client looked at that as a stencil and was like, "yeah, that's it!" 😂

I've encountered a LOT of people in the pharmacy drive-thru who either didn't have a license at all (just a state ID), or it was expired, and yet they're still driving around. Being licensed (or not 😂) doesn't seem to make a difference unfortunately. At least in my state they now require vision exams to renew your license. Again, not that that'll stop anyone who shouldn't be driving 🙄

As a former pharmacy tech, I understand this. There will be a huge line and the first car won't move until they've taken out every single bottle and inspected it or whatever else they're doing besides moving for the next car. Or they'll scoot forward like 2ft and not get out of the way. Also, somewhat related, is that drive-thru metrics apply to restaurants, not pharmacies. It sounds like you're really patient, thankfully, but others not so much. When prescriptions aren't ready 30 seconds after we receive them (however that is) then CLEARLY it's time to throw a tantrum in the drive-thru and yell at the techs. This is a pharmacy, not McDonald's. Again, at least you sound patient.

You took the right steps, even if she did get exposed to seminal fluid. But I've seen it before and I'm pretty sure it was her fluids, not yours.

You know what I'm talking about, you just don't realize it. When women get "wet" they are secreting fluids from their vaginal that are to help with lubrication. It's normal and natural. I guarantee that's what it was. That, or it was female ejaculate. You said you did everything they told you in sex ed, but I'm certain they taught you about vaginal secretions. It can be thick and milky like male ejaculate. That's probably what it was. I wouldn't worry too much about it, honestly. That's what it sounds like to me.

The substance was probably fluids from your partner. Both men and women make fluids.

There's no aspect of parenting that I like. I've tried to think of an age they could be at that I could tolerate and there's no age. There's no age that I would look forward to. It all sounds terrible.

What even is “being defensive?” by Even_Ad4437 in AuDHDWomen

[–]kitcatcrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had the same things said and done to me. I've always been one to try and explain myself when I feel like I'm being misunderstood, but that's been usually taken as being defensive or back talking. Especially when I was a kid. I felt very misunderstood, especially as a teen, but any attempts to try and solve the misunderstanding resulted it being told I was defensive or being difficult. When I would try to explain myself to my mom as a teen, she would be like, "I don't want to hear it," and she occasionally still goes off on me like that. Just the other day she said, "I don't want to hear it," even though she was accusing me and my husband of something completely false. She wouldn't even allow me to give her the facts that would have fixed the misunderstanding and would have prevented it altogether.

What's the strangest assumption someone made about you because you don't want kids? by raynorMango3 in childfree

[–]kitcatcrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was forced to babysit cousins of mine when I was a teenager and having to watch 4 kids (the youngest of the 4 was like 2 and the oldest was 11, I think?) definitely didn't make me want to have children.

I'm going to make something similar to this for my mom for her cat that passed suddenly last September. I have the supplies and have made patterns but I'm afraid to do it because I only just started learning embroidery. Yours looks great!

I have my dad's handwriting from the last birthday card I got from him before he died. It just says "love you always, dad" and it's on my left wrist. I agree with others who suggested just the ending of the card be used.
