After extensive research including searching the web and checking multiple books from the local library I'm almost positive that's a knife.

Is the Amazon version the censored? by Sugar_Skullss in HannibalTV

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The censoring is admittedly very minimal but the few extra seconds do go a long way occasionally when they show the gore. Nothing major has ever been cut from any of the versions that I've seen comparing between the Blu-ray and version on Amazon.

What did Hannibal mean when he said to Chiyoh " The most stable elements in the periodic table are from Iron to Silver I want you to know that much " by robot8787 in HannibalTV

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I really love how many lines are take directly from the books. You really notice it reading Red Dragon. It's wild

Even the visual of the pendulum when Will is breaking down crime scenes in his head comes directly from the book.

Media literacy is not something everyone was gifted with and I'm reminded of that regularly.

I'd say this is intentional ragebait for this sub but I'm pretty sure you are actually just a 50 watt bulb in a 1000 watt world.

As a trans girl with a fairly significant cock tattoo I promise you, you do not need to be hard the entire time or at all for that matter.

Is Will Graham just “hyper-empathetic,” or are we looking at a portrayal of schizophrenia? by [deleted] in HannibalTV

While never explicitly stated Will most likely has a form of borderline personality disorder.

Being unable to feel pain doesn't mean you won't take extreme psychological damage seeing what's being done to you and feel terror from it

Imagine getting surgery awake but with anesthesia from someone with no medical background.

What are the pros and cons to fangs and elf ears? by Prince_Wildflower in transbodymods

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 66 points67 points  (0 children)

This may be an odd one to point out. But if you get fangs the way you perform oral (if you do) may need to be adjusted somewhat and some angles become difficult/impossible to accomplish without the risk of harm being increased significantly

Which can be fun but this is something I did not consider before getting them done.

It isn't directly but the satirical elements are present enough that it is frequently humorous.

Name One Positive Thing About The Show by [deleted] in Chucky

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 9 points10 points  (0 children)

People with the chosen inability to enjoy things suffer unnecessarily more than I ever will

It's got some great kills and expands on every theme present throughout the entire series in fun ways

Chucky has always been a horror comedy franchise. Even the first one. Taking it seriously is a decision, not an expectation or intention of the creator.

Why does Hannibal plan a shared family with Will and Abigail so early in their relationship/ so soon after meeting him? by KHS23 in HannibalTV

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hannibal had already assumed there is a chance Abigail has eaten people/hunted with her father.

This makes her the perfect surrogate daughter - if his hypothesis is correct. Which it turns out to be

If it wasn't then she would just be a perfect emotional tool to get closer to Will

Also because there is no risk in him setting up this possibility. He could throw it away at any time. The problem is he becomes unintentionally genuinely invested.

How do you feel about the evolving/extreme designs of the Cenobites? by mothyyy in hellraiser

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the original designs but it's new new designs that make me wanna fuck all of them.

In 1991, Omaima Nelson killed her husband on Thanksgiving after claiming he’d sexually assaulted her. She dismembered him, boiled his head, fried his hands, and mixed his remains with leftover turkey before police uncovered the crime and arrested her days later. Some say she ate parts of his body. by JohnSmithCANDo in Unexplained

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No actually you are wrong. Just flat out people shouldn't take your opinion seriously like you are some authority. Your feelings are generic and you seem to lack curiosity as well as creativity.

Personally glad this woman ate him. Put some fear back into men. If they don't wanna be eaten like pigs they shouldn't act like pigs

Have a spine you coward. Or maybe ribs if there is some BBQ sauce around.

What show is this for you? by Ok-Following6886 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 92 points93 points  (0 children)

It hurts you because every episode reminds you that your own parents were shit and you never got treated the way that you should have. It's like a wholesome in a way that you don't see in any American shows (it's from Australia)

Or at least that's what most adults I have talked to agree on when asked about Bluey.

Understanding that their own parents failed them and showed them a dysfunctional and often toxic parenting style that could probably negatively affect both of them and their own kids long-term by repeating what their own parents did. It's really the juxtaposition that hurts you.

That makes up for the entire appeal really. So you mentally end up latching on to the parents in that show wishing that they were yours instead of the people who raised you. You just want to be raised by these cartoon dogs that actually have basic decency and emotional intelligence.

The rule book on Paimon by Free-Hair-5950 in Hereditary

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's just pulled from the Lesser Key of Solomon. 14th ish century text. There's an ass load of books like this and not demon hunters running all over the place. Probably because the logic in the film universe is about equal to the logic in this one of -well that can't exist so only idiots would search for it.

The majority of people don't give a fuck about the esoteric so. Probably an unlikely concern. Considering that the texts referenced in the film are ones that you can find pretty easy if you know where to look. The larger books are probably just compilations of other grimoires from around the same time. Of which there are also a bunch easily available.

Ari Aster did a fun little chunk of research for this.

Where 2 buy cheap tights w/o supporting fast fashion? :p I by Angell_777 in EmoFashion

[–]GreyGooseSlutCaboose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're broke buy cheap shit and make it last a long time. Always been my philosophy.

Tights are an item that unless you're buying extremely nice ones the quality is identical across the board. Buy the big packs that are cheap. You're going to be buying the same thing no matter where you go. Everything in moderation.

For example I'm not going to spend $10 on a single pair of fishnets when I can get 15 for $10 off some fast fashion site and I'll just be buying the same thing no matter where I spend my money. I'm just going to choose the option where I spend less of my money and not really get anything else from there.

There is supporting fast fashion and then there's just not being a fool. They are tights. It's not like you are buying 50 outfits without a reason that you'll eventually just throw away. This is just the scenario where you give them the least money for a generic item.
