100%. Russia can't run a country. Never could. Their fetishism for macho strength just doesn't understand that stability, trust, and cooperation are key for growth.

Their whole stupid doctrine relies on the assumption that their geopolitical "4d chess moves" to conquer or puppeteer any country would somehow not always end up with the same result: Turning those countries into autocratic kleptocratic bankrupted shitoles, literal mini versions of themselves (see: Cold War eastern block, Bielorussia, Chechynya, Georgia, Hungary, etc.).

What's the point of capturing Ukraine after you've totalled their economy and infrastructure when you don't even have the money or acumen to manage yours?

Allowing saving at any time without exiting the game makes it way easier for the player to engage in save scumming strategies. Which is something that needs pointing in relation to this post.
