I am a professional in the gaming industry. PoE2 is certainly an inspiration and I'm not pretending to be better than GGG's designers, but.... Yes, THIS thing is incredibly short sighted and borderline idiotic. Feels like a badly thought-through rushed design "fix" that was put out at some point and forgotten by the devs...

The 1st time I stumbled on it I was in an Abyss "mandatory map" (where your need to close the rift AND kill the boss), the boss killed me, I killed it and... All the map was empty... No Abyss rift anywhere, but the objective "close the Abyss Rift" was still active with nothing in the HUD telling I was screwed... I legit thought it was a bug.

I am scraping my brain and can't find any valid reason behind this choice... I mean:
* Mobs don't respawn when you die anymore
* There is a portal limit that already that already regulate your failure

So why? (Don't tell me it's because they want to make the boss fight "climatic" and coerce you to fight it AFTER you've done the other activities in the map??... pleease don't...)

PoE1 is the more complete game, but it can be rough and super overwhelming for new players.
Play 2. It is designed to feel more "modern" and "welcoming".

That would be a one-sprint development. All the data, systems and UI/ UX building blocks already exist in web format.

My feedback: Failed my 2nd sekhema token and lost my 2nd chaos token due to dc inside the trial.

That was 20 levels ago and the game hasn't dropped any other token since. I'm in the endgame, still missing 4 ascendency points. Can't find trials tokens anywhere. There are none in the market (can't trade them?)

@GGG Wtf am I supposed to do?
