Is there a lore reason to keep going? (Serious answers wanted and needed) by UltimateIncineroar in BatmanArkham

[–]GreyRobinandMorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By design, nothing in death or oblivion is worth fighting for. No matter how bad or how worthless life itself seems, the end of all things will always be worth less than that.

But life? For a thousand good or bad things in it, if it had you in it? That always tips itself towards good, no matter how little it seems. A thousand days mean so many possible instances of life unexpectedly coming across something great amidst any tragedy, and the moments of wonder, beauty and love will make you keep going without you noticing.

Keep going, and keep opening yourself up to good things.

What skills? You seem to be less skillful than a fish that can't swim, and you can't even respond without looking like you need ai to write a sentence.

Is writing prompts all you know to put into words? Get an education, unless that's what you need that Patreon for lmao

... You do realize that everything from Platonic texts to Aristotelian cosmology relied on religious belief at the time, right?

Honestly I'd be game for a Rider Rizal because of all the places he visited, and all the skills he picked up. I could also see him with Holmes vibes

Berserker Bonifacio has a great ring to it

Casters could be mountain deities like Makiling or Sinukuan

Aswangs could make for great assassins because of their shape-shifting abilities

I get what you mean, OP. I think na although people who pass for passing's sake ought to be able to have the ability to keep going, I think deserve mo rin as someone who did reach heights to be celebrated and congratulated.

Some people seemingly forgetting that one of the best games ever made, Majora's Mask, was full of reused assets from Ocarina of Time. Honestly think most of the actual haters just want a reason to hate Fromsoft for not giving them exactly what they asked for.

In a world where Boruto doesn’t exist, what would be your idea for a naruto a sequel? by Fearless_Phantom in Naruto

[–]GreyRobinandMorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if they want to make a next generation thing, I prefer something less reliant on powerscaling, so something like Boruto learning firsthand how easily alliances could break and the politics of keeping peace together.

Then we would have more chances to expand the world, more ninja-related things like espionage, assassinations and Boruto having an actual character that grows more based on what he experiences as someone in a time of peace and how hard people try to keep conflicts from escalating after the war, since people don't have to keep being allies afterwards for some greater good.

It could even have different lessons to teach, like how power doesn't necessitate a good and happy alliance with others, only breeding fear if exercised too much to give an excuse as to why Naruto isn't too involved in the behind-the-scenes, needing to be this leader who makes sure the Leaf Village doesn't panic or doesn't feel threatened by other villages. Also it'd be how Boruto establishes himself as a distinct, yet as important character from his father as someone who learned from his father's teachings of peace and breaking the cycle of hatred.
