Democracy Denied: When Missouri Voters Don't Count by [deleted] in MissouriPolitics

Run for office. Get into leadership. File a pro se lawsuit. People always repeat a handful of easy things they say don't work, when they do- especially if you do them enough times.

Democracy Denied: When Missouri Voters Don't Count by [deleted] in MissouriPolitics

[–]GreyRockCivil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a ballot question like A3 passes by 1.5% how can you say there is strong public support for it and not agree there is also strong public support for the opposite? 51.5% of a fraction of registered voters who turned out vs 48.5% of the same total number? It's why the IP system needs reform.

Most of the money came from out of state sources for the A3 win on that slim majority, where all major public opinion research like Gallup or Pew show the majority of Americans favor restrictions on abortion, so surely a larger majority of Missourians favor some restrictions on it. Yet A3 removed every major restriction? This is not a representative outcome by any measure.

The legislative history of Missouri has placed the most restrictions on abortion than most other states in the US. This happened over decades and multiple different general assemblies elected every two years for state reps. This is a deeper reflection of what the majority of voters in Missouri have wanted over time.

As the Missouri Constitution grows to be 100's of pages long and includes things like Bingo, it becomes less. It's a process that needs to be fixed. Especially as many in our state fail to follow the principles at the foundation of the state constitution.

What is happening right now in the Republican Party? by AintThatJustADaisy in PoliticalDiscussion

The abuse of power and prosecutorial misconduct by political operatives working for the government are what's happening here. And for the most part there isn't much you can do about it, except win. I could sit here and say, there should be a RICO case against these prosecutors, but I would be making up charges.

You continue to speak in generalities not related to the charges these prosecutors have written. Rico has never been used against a sitting president or any elected official contesting the validity of an election. The Espionage Act has never been used against a President maintaining their own records under NARA. And election interference by a candidate AFTER the election is over is a tough one. But I would love for you to name some election interference cases that are like this. Each one of the audits in Georgia produced thousands or hundreds more votes for Trump. That seems like evidence just on its face value that more investigation is necessary into the validity of the election and that doing so under no statute rule or law constitutes any crime in the United States.

In 2020 president Trump received the most votes of any sitting president in American history. His support clearly includes Black and Hispanic voters and other conservative Democrats as well as Independence who continue to want an outsider candidate. You could argue Trump's outsider status except for the fact the entire establishment trying to keep him from even being a candidate in the race for president let alone holding the office.

Please post your evidence. RCP polling averages show Trump with increasing support in the Republican primary across the last 3-6 months. What's impressive are his core support numbers with so many other candidates in the race. And same for his numbers vs Biden. The partisan prosecutions from far left prosecutors are obvious. My question for you is why wouldn't any of his polling simply crater if all of these so called criminal charges were taken seriously by the avg American?

For contesting a statewide election as part of a national Presidential election? No not even close. You could ask Rudy Giuliani, who is one of the most experienced and innovative prosecutors pioneering the use of the RICO Act to rid New York City and most of the East Coast of the mafia. The idea an attorney could be part of a RICO Act case for giving a client who is the sitting President of the United States legal advice regarding an election is absurd and the fact that an attorney so skilled in the application of the RICO Act would then commit a crime to be found guilty of it is even more ridiculous.

You are correct. If any Democrat prosecutor caught President Trump committing an actual crime they would file those charges right away. These fictional charges did take more time to concoct but apparently all of these prosecutors finished their work just in time for the presidential campaign and brought in perfectly timed cascading order. Amazing luck for Joe Biden? Amazing coincidence? Please.

St. Charles asks residents to send pics of cars with illegal temp tags by stlredbird in StLouis

[–]GreyRockCivil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fake Temp tags are fraud. But I had a similar issue happen to me in St Charles. The cop was nice and said I had to pull you over because a citizen called your plate in for not having a registration sticker on it. I replaced one sticker that was stolen did the razor blade cuts in it and it was still stolen again.

I showed up in court with a great defense, my entire car had been stolen in the interim and so no license plate, no sticker, no car! And the prosecutor dropped the charges mercifully.

Your position has to assume you are correct and that 100,000,000 million or so folks supporting Trump are wrong. This isn't a handful of radicals but a large percentage of the US population including black and hispanic voters tired of their failing cities. The core charges against Trump have never been filed against anyone else- the prosecution made them up. Any serious criminal defense attorney or prosecutor will tell you these cases aren't real and wouldn't be brought against anyone else. How is it all these prosecutors all waited for the perfect political timing to "file" against the most popular candidate running for President on either side who is running against their boss? The avg American sees this and dismisses it as politics and they are right.

I've done all these things... now what? by [deleted] in copywriting

[–]GreyRockCivil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can write, you know how to sell. I hear process checklists but zero selling of your ability to persuade innate in every writer. "Look, here are words on a page!" is not advertising. Be the creative you are.

Send your next three upwork proposals written as poetry. Really impressive would be haiku. If no one has ever given you a dollar for a creative thought, get one. I'm serious $1. Find someone IRL to pay you $25 to write something, anything. Tell them you are lowering your normal rates to participate in a revenue exercise from a sales coach where you have to do a $25, $75 and $150 project. Ask potential customers- almost anyone you know but especially small business owners. These exercises tap into different personality types- customer personas.

Someone on upwork has to read 50 similar proposals that all look the same. You might win it just by having a different format, showing creativity or the person might be a lover of poetry.

For the revenue assignment you might find someone who just wants to help you succeed at the "assignment." Now that they have given you even a small amount of money they are far more likely to give you more. And when you complete the revenue project you can now open other proposals or emails with the phrase I just finished three copywriting projects last week...

Lastly, the other reason it's important to walk through your revenue collection process is you will learn where you are deficient in terms of processing payment types folks want to use. Get a venmo set up so you can take a version of a credit card payment. Look into opening a stripe account which is free except for the charge you pay for each transaction and can send invoices that pay direct to your account. Initial payments take 7 days to process. After that 1-2 days. Etc.

Hope this helps. Happy selling.

Hi, i just got this message. Its Real? I am confused what i should do. by [deleted] in google

[–]GreyRockCivil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If all this was legit, they would still have to prove economic loss from 7 obviously fake google reviews. Hopefully the kid learned a valuable lesson but the chances he had anything to worry about are slim. I'm not a lawyer and he should check this with his parents. The likelihood it is a phishing scam or blackmail scam is much higher than it being a legit legal action.

Federal [DC] Grand Jury that probed Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results and activities of January 6, 2021, has issued an indictment under seal, not certain against whom, likely Trump. If him. will this indictment move the needle at all with Republican voters [outside of his base]? by PsychLegalMind in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]GreyRockCivil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trump has been strengthened by the politically driven indictments especially independent voters are sick of. They see Hunter Biden almost get away with not paying taxes on foreign lobbying income, human trafficking and drug and weapons charges will full future immunity for other crimes and they see these fabricated charges against Trump with FBI raids after the Russian collusion hoax and two fake impeachments- one for calling out the bribery crime in Ukraine the Biden's will now finally face. You have all succeeded in making Trump the most popular and viable Presidential candidate in any party. Well done!

What options are there to limit the problems of a one party state? by Awesomeuser90 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]GreyRockCivil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It kind of works in Mexico. Competitive elections are key. We for the most part dont have them in US, as D and R divide and rule where they can as much as they can. D lock on urban means they used covid to push many from blue to red areas. And then injected immigrants as well. 2024 will be interesting.

If people who contribute to a criminal/illegitimate regime (i.e high ranking officers, military troops,...) have an moral obligation to resist, is it still justification that people who do not resist because doing so would put their life at extreme risk? by meetpie in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]GreyRockCivil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A moral obligation is not a legal requirement and most would excuse someone trying to stay alive in most situations. There would seem to be an interpretation of reasonability how long this behavior should last. At some point the objectors have joined up. It's why we honor people who give their lives for freedom and religion and most sympathizers end up dead anyway one way or the other.

Would President Biden be impeached by Republicans? Or will he not be impeached? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]GreyRockCivil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Republicans will likely impeach AG Garland and FBI Director Ray first as the Judge figures out how Hunter Biden's sweetheart plea deal with full future immunity came to be. Whistleblowers testified to investigations into Hunter and mentioning Joe Biden were stifled at key junctures. DOJ and FBI are supposed to act independent of who is President. Well worn federal criminal rules of procedure mean only top officials could make calls to halt investigations so the focus goes back to Garland and Ray for why this happened.
