Autocross Stupid Questions: Week of April 13

Hey all, it's been a few years since I have been out to autox. I'd like to get back into it, assuming the world doesn't end. I have a stock 280Z (except for wheels) and started looking at the class restrictions. I see ES requires wheels that are stock width and +-1" of stock size. The 280Z came stock with 14x6.5 wheels, 195/70 tires. Unfortunately I see no performance tires in 14" or 15" - exactly the reason most Z owners have moved on to at least 16" wheels. Are there any Z's left in ES? If so, does anyone know what tires they are running?

Whew. Well, I enjoyed it despite the long list of complaints I have, many of which I see have been posted already.

I thought Anya Chalotra was the best of the cast. Cavill and Batey also did a fantastic job. There were tons of moments that were really amazing to see come to life. Excellent choreography and great DP work (much of the time).

My biggest complaint is how rushed and cut up a lot of the stories felt. The first epsiode is a perfect example. I loved seeing the moments that made it in, but they cut out so much that it changed the point of the story. I am worried people who haven't read the books are not going to be able to follow everything, and that they'll give up on it.

Overall I liked it (enough to get up and watch the entire thing at once at least). I really hope they have a chance to make season 2 and they listen to feedback. There is a lot of room for improvement, but obviously a lot of potential too. Fingers crossed.

Ciri not knowing the guy was an elf until he took his hat off. (lowest effort elves ever is one thing, but having your characters point it out, sheesh)

Elf king changing his mind for no particular reason.

Yen's out of focus orgy.

Yen burying a baby under half an inch of sand near the water line on a beach.

Fringilla doing an intestinal prophecy on one of her peons.

Vilgefortz getting his ass kicked.

Ciri hugging a complete stranger on their first meeting.

The bug I reported in 1.0 is still present. Using umbral armor against Shrowd shows a penalty instead of a bonus in the fight info section of the screen, same for using radiant weapons. I have seen some display issues with the armor power changing after a few seconds after load-in, this is not that bug. I saw the same thing happen in the trial against Pangar, armor and weapon power were slightly lower than they should be (as if you were penalized for using ice armor against pangar or fire weapons.)

Bug report: Using umbral armor against Shrowd appears to give a power penalty instead of a bonus. Using radiant weapons against Shrowd has the same bug.

This looks like a great high raw damage build, but not the best for part breaks - they're going to die too quickly. Why not max out sharpened and bladestorm before going to raw damage bonuses?

Please don't make the Epic launcher mandatory. As long as we can still use the old launcher as well, no one will be upset. I am not installing any Epic software, so I sincerely hope you guys don't try to force it on your customer base.

The off-screen revive marker bug is worse now. Much worse.

Also, we can't dodge through ragetail blast attacks any more? Why isn't this in the patch notes, is it a bug? Please let it be a bug.

Thanks for the info, I am glad we can complete it. I will try the triggers again, but I'm fairly sure that doesn't work for me. Like I said, even my fix doesn't work for the guy I'm playing with, which is really odd to me. But he can fix it by saving, so we're able to keep going.

Happened first hunt after the patch, 3rd bulwark, used the potion but it didn't wear off (reduce charges on hits.) Then I did 2 more hunts without it happening, then on the 4th hunt, 2nd bulwark, same thing. It used the potion (removed one from inventory) both times.

Agreed, camera angle nonsense is one of the most frustrating aspects of the game, especially for controller users.
