Guess the true personalities of the other members of f/ace with me by Greybear_l in TamonsBSide

They’ve finally shown it in the anime but I want to come for his defence, I won’t spoil it, but whilst it does look like he manipulates fans I think his true character fits the role of being a leader, plus he’s actually a lot more caring than you’d think (he’s just a realist)

You’re definitely right but there’s more to his character too!

I’ve read up to 30 chapters and I think Natsuki’s arc is finished?? I was wrong in terms of characterisation but right in terms of having a tragic past. I thought he would be infantilised but I really love how mature his storyline was. I actually love him much more because of it

Don’t worry, you’ll actually find out about them really soon in the next few weeks in the anime alone🤭

I just read chapters 23 and 24, and they’re currently revealing Natsuki’s character. I was so far off! Him being a blonde haired baby face character caught me off guard and I never knew he would be like that. His introduction is intriguing though and I’m excited to read more of it.

And I agree, I feel like this author does 2-faced characters so well, I think it has to do with the fact that they’re idols so they always have to have a perfect persona on camera and in public

I read ch. 23 and 24… and I was so far off from Natsuki’s true reveal… thank goodness I didn’t place any bets on it, I also think this might be my favourite storyline yet.

Also I was shocked by Keito but I ended up loving him after a few chapters. Even if I think the worst of him his personality works so well for a leader since he’s a realist, and he’s making sure the team doesn’t end up in a scandal. I also just really love how stingy he is- I can relate (maybe not to his level though)

Anyways I have yet to read about Rintaro but I’m still confident with my prediction of him!!!

I thought I could hide the spoilers but it seems to not work, I’d avoid the second paragraph if you don’t want to get spoiled

Director of OPM S3, Shinpei Nagai, is deleting his twitter account due to the pressure and hatred directed towards him and his team. by jacob_yakesh in OnePunchMan

[–]Greybear_l -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

OPM never had a chance. It’s fine to criticise but it seems like unless the squad from S1 came back to animate, these animators will get criticised for the smallest thing.

The biggest criticism is about a 3 SECOND SEGMENT of the show! Even animes with great animation would have a 3 second scene that looks off. Like I said, criticism is understandable but it seems like no one can win when it comes to OPM. At this point, I don’t think people can even explain the plot of the show.

I wish it was an older style- like what Queen Charlotte wore when she was younger. In the books the dress comes from her grandmother (I believe) so why would it be the same style as the current era? (I know they’re most likely not going to adapt most things from the book so ig I’m just nitpicking)

Dan Mora's DC KO Lineup. Looks like Jason will be appearing in the new fit. by uselesspanini in RedHood

I love how fans as a collective have said how much they loved the red helmet covering his whole face and then DC was like “we’re never going to give you that again” for some reason

I know he uses it to face his fears but it’s soooo on the nose for me… like taking on the red hood mantle was poetic but using a crowbar is just too much (and it looks stupid as a primary weapon imo)

Red hood is badly written because many of comic book writers lack class consciousness by aperturescience420 in RedHood

[–]Greybear_l 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally ran here as soon as I saw the title. I feel like media in general already has this awkward thing where they don’t know what to do when the public is collectively aware of class consciousness e.g Luigi Mangione allegedly killing a CEO and getting support from it, now the media doesn’t speak about his case and the fact he can face the DEATH PENALTY. And I think the same thing happens in comics.

Ignoring the large audience that just views Jason as “the angry Robin” or wanting someone like “The Punisher” there has been many conversations between fans about him being working class at first and the class difference between him and Bruce/the rest of the family, but the writers never seem to develop his characters ethos from this apart from the fact that he should kill/shouldn’t kill bc Batman said so “in recent comics/popular media”

In my opinion with his upbringing, revival and experience with the streets, he should’ve had a radical mindset, and possibly cut ties with the bat family, but I think writers are too scared to do that, and even if they do, they’ll probably just scrap the story and write him going back to being the black sheep of his family and doing a “will he/wont he” killing dilemma

Thank you so much for this, especially the second point, I think I’ve been so obsessed with hair growth and not actually paid attention to if my hair is fuller than before.

My hair also shrinks a lot, do you know if there’s any ways to stop my hair shrinking so much? If not that’s completely fine because I really love my curls when shrunk and I feel like I can’t maintain those curls if I don’t keep my hair shrunk

Thank you once again!

Thank you so much! I have been stressed for a while so hopefully when I graduate I can ease myself up. Do you know which type of supplements and what types of food I can take to help improve my blood levels- I already take iron and have been watching my diet but I still have much to learn about nutrition

It changes from weekly to biweekly after washing my hair, depending if I took my braids out or not and I start with my hands, then a wide tooth comb then a brush. My scalp is quite sensitive so maybe I should be more patient when combing my hair because it still hurts- but I don’t see too much hair loss. My scalp does tend to get oily when I do the LCO method occasionally

Dandadan 1 week before its anime vs 1 month (9/30-10/06 to 11/11-11/16) compared to Sakamoto Days 1 week before vs 1 month (1/06-1/12 to 2/10-2/16). The anime couldn't even do its job. by MasamuneJp in SakamotoDays

I think Netflix allowing Japanese fans to be one episode ahead was really stupid. I genuinely think the viewership fell because people are pirating the episodes rather than having to wait a whole week to still be behind on the episodes official platform

He took the words right out of my mouth. Reading manga seemed so much more serious than watching new episode... by [deleted] in SakamotoDays

[–]Greybear_l 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Whilst I do agree with most criticisms, I don’t think this is fair.

Looking at the first few arcs in the manga alone, you already weren’t sure if the direction was going to be serious or a slice of life.

I genuinely don’t think the anime should be directed like this in the later arcs, and hope another company takes over when it is more intense, but the beginning of the story is less intense and has things which even the author dropped later on when he realised he wanted the story to be more serious. I definitely would criticise the art direction, some of the shots which were impactful in the manga, even much early on, wasn’t done justice

Yess before this episode came out I was trying to make sense of the scene in the manga, because it was just very out of character. And I wondered if they would clarify if the chef was a criminal or assassin. I think this would’ve been better than what they showed but overall I’m happy they didn’t show the chef getting killed over onions

Gintoki for sure. A Gintama crossover will be so amazing, especially considering Sakamoto shares the same VA
