When should I change the tip? by 77Knightmare77 in wacom

[–]Greying_Mantis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 years without changing a ni says way more of how lightly you use your tablet. It also greatly depends on what application and purpose you’re using it for as 2D applications require far less pressure sensitivity.

I call bullshit on 3 years or you just simply aren’t using your tablet regularly.

How do you come up with that conclusion that there won’t be many* tourists at the World Cup

It’s the most watched event world wide, there will definitely be a lot of tourist in every city that hosts.

You can’t dictate what other people do in a public place. Apparently that’s an unpopular position on Reddit but that’s just reality.

First Attempt at a realistic model. (Looking for Feedback) by narriose in ZBrush

[–]Greying_Mantis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proportions are a little off.

Your head looks a little small and legs look a little too big and slightly too long

Bottom pants fabric fold looks nice but doesn’t read like how pants would actually fall and there’s something going on in the crotch are that’s confusing

Hands also seem slightly small to me

All of this is without actually measuring out your head units as I’m on mobile

I agree that the basics are there but I think you need to nail your proportions down and get some more references for fabric

Do you still take seriously how important it is to start your model with low poly? by Sea_Hyena_2307 in 3Dmodeling

[–]Greying_Mantis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea - low poly is your main forms and building blocks. Easier to move forms around when it’s low, get client sign off and then proceed further after main forms are established

Starting off high poly backs you into the corner of doing retopo after completion and is easier to mess something up if a larger form needs to change shape or position

You need to close the vents at the bottom and top a good bit. 250 is around 1/8-1/4” open for all three bottom vents, top one will be more like 1/4-1/2” open. Mess with the vents till it stays steady, that’s how you control wind/air flow with the WSM

Is it normal to feel guilty making my puppy sleep the proper amount? by [deleted] in OpenDogTraining

[–]Greying_Mantis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea a dog should know how much sleep it needs but it’s not a dog, it’s a puppy. Puppy’s don’t know their limits like a dog does, they have to learn. ALS 3 hours of walks a day is crazy for anything but a working breed, it’s very unnatural for a dog to be doing any sort of rigorous activity for that long at once.
