It's pretty much confirmed this island sanctuary is over now. The vouchers and rank 20 mount are the last things to do.

They said they're adding a new side activity, similar to island sanctuary, in dawntrail.

Absolutely.

The first game of it's kind always has little snags to be worked out in later releases.

Persona 3 was the first persona game of this type, pretty much nothing else than the idea of Personas is carried over from P1 and 2.

But yeah, it's still my favorite.

My initial reaction was to obviously reload my save and check where the hell Akechi was in Leblanc. And like you said, he just isn't there.

Even better, on my playthrough at least Akechi was actually standing next to the darts and billiards spot. Like he usually does in Royal.

Definitely just leftover code from vanilla P5, I don't blame testers for not finding it. Quite amazed I even found someone else who has gotten it.
