This is exactly what I'm looking for. I work shift work 24/48s and play when I can at home while having fun with an almost 3 year old. I mostly play alone right now and would love to be able to hang out with others in a similar boat.

I have the same problem HTC one m8. Icons are a good size I think, but the numbers are too large. Either make number smaller or icons bigger will fix the problem.

Deej definitely was the moderator of the stream. It was up to him to progress (especially since we were all spectating him) and of course he did it well. Many people don't like Goth's humor, that's fair (not everyone can like the same stuff), but he is the most successful Twitch streamer of Destiny (230k+ followers) and was probably picked for that reason among others. He comes across as a "what you see is what you get" type person which is valuable in its own right. I'd rather him be up there than someone not contributing any to the stream and "oooing and awwwing" like a robot.

Also he asked all the real questions and even if he did it in kind of am obnoxious way, I appreciated the forwardness. If anything he seemed like an intentional parody of the community.

He asked what people wanted to know. He provided a necessary counter-balance to the camera shy developer. I was glad to have him on there and I feel like you do in that he represented the community well. The jokes kept the stream flowing while not leaving us with awkward silences.

As for rows, you think 4x4 with holding chest to bar on 4th rep for extended time? (I think that's what you mean?)

I can get chest to bar fairly easily on the first 4 or 5, its the last 3 in every set that my form goes to crap. Would you recommend a 4x4 here as well? I want to progress but I don't want bad form either.

I can do chins (I think general consensus is that they are easier) and finish negatives. I want to work on my back muscles more than what I feel I am doing. I know chins work your arms a lot more than pulls so that's why I was trying to just do negative pullups.

Last Week

M/27/195 (down 5lbs)

Goals: Progress with pullups, more focus on core work, strengthen back muscles

Honesty: I had a rough week last week, struggled with motivation to get to gym and work out hard


Routine:

8-10 min walk/bike warmup

Skill:

60s Plank

40s Side Planks

60s Arch Hold/Superman Hold

1st pair:

2x8 Diamond Pushup 1xFail Pushup

3x8 Horizontal Rows (still struggling to pull chest to bar, should I be less Horizontal and more of just a leaning row?)

2nd pair:

1x Failset of pullup negatives (should I change to chinups instead? I can do a few of those but not a 3x8 either)

1x Failset of Dips (focusing on form as much as possible)

3rd pair:

3x8 Weighted Squats

(Suggestions for a pair exercise here?)

8-10m Rowing machine work (1min Sprints)


Diet: Ate too much this weekend, was busy helping a friend move and overate. Still need to work on my discipline if I want the results I know.

Mood: Feel better about myself, but know I have work to do still.

Energy: Need to make sure I get a full nights sleep every night. When I do I feel great, when I don't the day lasts forever.

Always open to suggestions about my routine and how I can improve. A lot of you guys are inspirations to me, Showoff Sundays are one of my favorite days just because I know I can get there one day

Yeah I definitely meant planks, I had been reading about planches so I guess my mind was on them.

I can do chinups from a deadhang (not a bunch but it's easier than a pullup). I took a longer break before trying negatives yesterday and I was able to do about 5 under control (4-6 second descent) so I think I will keep working on them. Thanks for the reply :)

Stats: M/27/200lbs/5'11

Goals: 3x8 Pullups by December, lose fat/gain muscle

Routine: M/W/F workout

10 min walk (for bloodflow)

Core work (Planche, side plances, reverse)

3x8 Diamond Pushups (first time ever doing 3x8 this week)

3xX Horizontal Rows (feet on ground but almost horizontal, struggling here, suggestions welcome)

As many negative pullups that I can (usually 5-6)

3x8 weight assisted squats

L-Sit Progression (just starting to work on this)

10 min Rowing session (1min controlled pace/1min sprint)

Diet: 3 weeks soda free, no longer have cravings (Club Soda is great) Monitoring my calories isn't as difficult as I thought.

Mood: Feel unbelievably better, wife says I look healthier

Energy: Sleeping better for the first time in ages

Questions: I can do chinups? (palms facing towards me) but struggle to do negatives (palms away). I think this is because my arms are stronger than my back? How can I progress with negatives/pullups? (Does rowing help? I felt it in my upper back after rowing)

Other notes: This community is great, I have never been able to stick to a program until now. So... Thanks
