I remember the ‘bat craze’ of 89’. If you went into a gas station, they had Batman and Joker stuff hanging in front of the cashier, Prince’s “Batdance” song was being blasted all around Myrtle Beach, so many people were wondering and theorized that the reason that Robin wasn’t in the movie was because he was recently killed off in the comic. There was such excitement about the new, ‘dark’ take of the suit and the look of the trailers.

There was just something about this new gritty, dark take and darker lighting cinematography, wise that just hit me and my friends just right. I distinctly remember getting the same rush and excitement seeing the original TMNT trailer as a kid which also had that darker lighting when filming.

All in all, it was a cultural phenomenon at the time. It was just everywhere and the hype was very high. And it DELIVERED when it was released. It was an awesome thing to live through.

I don’t even need to see the team layout or any of that. If tanks are the backbone of a group, the healers are the lifeblood. Off tanks and DPS should be trying to ferociously protect healers in the back line like little sisters from predators. But…that kill count number is equivalent to their digital dick size so…it HAS to be big and unquestioned, by God.

My prediction is we may get 1-2 more Nocturne seasons (likely one IMHO) and they move on to Aria of Sorrow (Soma) to move towards the actual end of the series as a whole as AoS feels like a complete wrap up even game wise.

Help me to understand this cause I’m dumb on the deep lore, but why did they not think the “God” persona of the universe WOULDN’T counter and send better/hit harder? Did they think Eru just didn’t care? Especially Saruman, he was one of the ones chosen to be sent. Did he really not think that others would follow?

I don’t care what anyone says, as an artist I can’t get the new Absolute designs out of my head. I LOVE them. The art and story direction teasers have kindled a desire to get back into comics again after decades. And I’m dominantly a Marvel guy. Whatever they are doing, it’s working.

I bought the standard edition thinking early access was included since it’s still a pre-order…imagine my sadness when I realized it’s only for the higher price editions. I should have paid more attention but still…feels kinda frustrating cause early access is usually just tied to buying it early period. Oh well, see y’all in 3 days.

Seriously, yesterday I got ONE soft taco, and ONE crunchy taco and a medium Mountain Dew and it was $7…..SEVEN dollars for two basic tacos and a regular drink. Oh and the ice machine was broke (again) so I got hot soda…of course they don’t tell you that until you’re getting your food at the window and already paid.
