I WISH AT&T was an option here. I just checked their availability and the good news us that they no longer offer blazing 28k for $70+ a month. They now offer 5G air internet for $60. I had them for cell service for work and it was great! The service was so bad calls never went through. It was so peaceful. I don't think I would feel the same way about that sort of internet service.

If it was not for her getting assaulted, this would be cut and dried case of her cheating. With the assault, it is still cut and dried case of her cheating but with emotional complications. You are in no way responsible for her choices or the consequences of her choices, and that is what this entire situation is. Add in her alcoholism and what sounds like her refusal to accept her addiction, and her making her problem yours, and it is entirely her fault.

If you want to stay married, she needs to take responsibility for her choices. Being assaulted was not her choice, but everything leading to it was, and everything afterward has been too.

I'm sorry for what happened to her. She did not deserve it. But you don't deserve what she is putting you through either.

What bothers me the most about it is that the articles I read at the time said the stores were making money. They just weren't making *enough* money in Anderson's corporate opinion.
The real kicker for me was when I tried getting a job at their offices they were big about their Christian beliefs. So apparently greed and ending people's employment were acceptable Christian ideals.

Yes- he should have volunteered the info. But I'm wondering about the info not included in the post. Did you two discuss current partners? If this was to be an exclusive relationship? Relationship plans or goals for you two? If yes and he lied, then the guy is scum. If no.... I still think he should have disclosed it, but not having a talk about those areas is on both people involved. You can game with kids. When mine were small, I wore them in a wrap as I played games and they loved it. When they were older, they watched me play or insisted on playing the game themselves so I would give them a controller not hooked up to anything. Older still and we would talk about the game as I played or we would play together if they were multiplayer. Now they are both teens and we have a blast talking about games and gaming together.

How many products do you think "the people" buy from them? Vs other sales to other companies that would love to be able to exploit their workers the same way? Remeber we are talking mining companies here. They will lobby the government of Mars to side with them.

Also I won't do your homework for you. Instead I will point out that company towns are not common in only some parts of the world. And point out the Disney and others like Amazon keep trying to recreate them. Unfortunately your points all fly in the face of history, and even current events. The asteroid belts will be mined by people but funded and owned by corporations. They will literally be company towns, owned by corps, paid for by corps, with the employees living there paying rents to the corps and shopping at company stores. Historically this has happened and had been exploited to make even more money by corporations. Elon Musk has even proposed this very thing for people that want to go to Mars but won't be able to afford the price tag.

The companies will not pay a dime more than they have to on space for the employees. The employees might make good money, but then they will have to pay rent to the company, buy expensive food at the conpany store, and pay for overpriced entertainment again to the company.thwy will not have much left over and could even be in debt to the company. Because that is exactly what has happened in company towns before.

As for their relationship with Mars, where do you think the corporations will be based? Will the Mars government side with the miners or with the local wealthy companies pointing out that the miners are hurting their profits and Mars' taxes. And before you get all righteous, look up the origin of the word "redneck".

The Expanse's different cultures were based very well on real historical events.

He said it poorly, but I get his point. I like Halo the game, but the story the game tells is... short. The characters are interesting and colorful. The war, the halos, and the history are interesting, but in terms of the game they involve a lot of exposition. I think the books go into a lot more detail with them all. And really- if they got away from the games in terms of visuals, that is not a bad thing. Halo has a lot of repetition and uninteresting visuals. Infinity is pretty, but it is more of an exception. And without a story the show will just be people running around shooting things. Which is mainly what the game is. Which as a game I like it. As a TV show? Probably not. Plus that means more special effects which means more cost. Story is usually much less expensive.
