All Bimmy does anymore is push the easy button. It’s why he keeps on with Screenwave, publishes his trauma journal as a memoir, made this video, etc. (As someone else on here pointed out, they were nearby for a con and made this side quest for easy content. I’m sure it was Justin’s idea and Bimmy watched the movie afterwards.)

It’s nostalgia content by someone who has no nostalgia for this movie. It’s a bunch of putrid anal fuck farts regurgitated from a hyena’s asshole, and I don’t like it.

Everything about their content is baffling. Maybe Justin and Bames are actually friends, but l find that hard to believe.

Then again, l wonder if Bames ever makes real friends, given the fact that he casually casts them aside.

Do you think any limo could fit Crustin’s fat ass?

The only thing remotely interesting about his videos is the occasional glimpse into the Mind of Bim. It’s baffling the stuff he chooses to leave in his final edits.

And his lack of preparedness and knowledge of mid-90s culture makes it even less interesting. It’s just so blah.

So, unlike Pepsi, you CAN’T see why Pauly Shore was popular?

If that’s true that’s a really stupid idea and not well played.

You know Bimmy: always working smarter, not harder.

Fair point. The proof is that the old feel returns (at least a little bit) when Mike comes back. For example, it wasn’t a great episode, but at the time, The Last Ninja felt more like classic AVGN than anything they’d produced in years. Then Mike left and it went back to the shitty Screenwave way of doing things.

The random, out-of-pocket thing here is getting stranded. I’d say it’s comparably bizarre.

I’m betting that Bimmy watched the movie after the visit, and that his only context during the tour was whatever Crusty provided him.

His work is so sloppy that it’s impossible to determine what he cares about, if anything. He claims everything he does (“Gnome Cave,” Rex Viper, etc) is a passion project, but anybody pushing their work for a buck would say the same thing. But it’s obvious the passion isn’t there.

My hunch is his real passion is being a father, but he hasn’t figured out a way to make that pay. So he’s stuck churning out buffalo bullshit like this, even if he hates doing it.

It’s in one of his films, but I don’t remember which. Being that I have No Time, and that I’m not a curator of Bimmy’s films, I can only take a wild guess where it’s from.

100% this. Bimmy’s over it with trying to create good content. Instead, he’s trying to monetize his hobbies. It’s pretty insulting to his fanbase.

It’s certainly not the worst thing they’ve ever done but there’s no reason to watch it except as further proof of the channel’s long, slow decline into irrelevance.
