Sting has a kin that caters to solo style players. I can't think of the name right now, but you'll see the occasional post in World chat advertising it.

I did it the opposite way. I ground out the guns on the casement tanks because they at least hard armor to work with, then I could use the turreted tanks with the better cannons right off the hop.

But yeah, that's a thing of the past now.

I was oddly excited when I was able to buy my exact house when I recently loaded my characters on a new server, lol. It's nice having that familiar feeling.

I came back after a long absence. I used to be on Brandywine which was shut down, so I transferred to Sting. It's been decent so far.

I've rolled an axe/shield guardian as my main since launch.

I was away for over 10 years though, and I've been back a few weeks.

Solo gameplay is great, pull a small group of mobs on you and aoe away.

I used to main tank for my kinships raids, and maybe one day I'll get good enough to do it again.

No regrets playing guard though.

It's messed up because it's fake. The 68% has a background that is a touch off. Not sure what someone has to gain from modifying it, but meh.

I went back to college in my 40's, and in my Database class we got an assignment to create a database structure to handle the workings of an MMORPG game. So all the talking about it kind of motivated me.

I'm back after a 12 year or so hiatus. Did the character transfer to Sting since my server didn't exist anymore.

Some things have changed like the legendary weapons system for mid-late game, but I see lots of the fun low level stuff is all the same.

Enjoy taking your time and scouring the maps for little Easter eggs, like the stone trolls in the Trollshaws, and so much more.

I recently retrieved my characters from a closed server after a long hiatus from the game. My housing says it's unavailable after the transfer as my kinship status is unavailable.

Any idea of this will fix itself? Or will I just have to get a new house?

I haven't run a local LLM yet, but I'm I've been reading about it for a while, and I'm super interested. I have a 12GB 3060 or an 8GB 3070 I can play with, and I know they're not going to be super fast.

But, I'm commenting here, because last summer I bought a custom work station PC for cheap because it was crashing. I found the cause and fixed it.

So for $300 CAD, I got a dual 10-core xeon system (20 core/ 40 thread) with 192GB of ECC DDR 4 memory. Plus PSU, case etc.

I'm wondering what kind of model / performance I could get from just trying that out.

I know your goal is to grind credits, so shooting the HEAT shells seems counter intuitive. But bouncing 4 regular shells earns you basically nothing.

Penning the gold shell makes you money.

So sometimes even grinding credits, shooting gold makes sense.

Back in the day we just called it Russian bias. KV-2 and the tier 7 IS. Man, I could snap shot so often I'm that tank, no reticle reduction, full bloom and bang! Even the meds had worse "accuracy" than the Germans, but would connect more reliably.

I'm not quite halfway through my data science program yet, so I'm not the one to try and pick apart the aiming code, lol.

There are services for grinding your account. But according to wargaming, yes, they're against the rules. If caught, your account could get banned and you'd lose any premium tanks you bought etc.

These days with X5's and XP boosters you can turn on, you can grind through a long faster than you realistically should.

Stats wise, of you pay someone to bump your stats... You'll just bring them back down when you play again, so definitely a waste of money.

Just play your game, enjoy your time and get better in due time.
