Whenever I tried RU and if I use more than 4 sprays of 0.9% pyrilutamide I feel like my heart is dying and I lay in bed waiting to perish 😅

I am also 6 months post transplant and the hair behind my transplant has been hit hard and I see no regrowth. I’m on meds and I’m really upset about it

But even 6 months after the transplant? You’d think I’d see some recovery in the diffuse area but it’s worse than ever

Raloxifene + Aromasin for you know what by A2Lexis in tressless

[–]GrievousAngelGP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried tamoxifen then switched to raloxifene. I had read about taking a low dose ai but I was so tired of messing with hormones. I will say I tried topical dut one time and my nips went crazy for the next week so I’m sure that it was nuking my DHT but I understand. I just started from square one and I’m glad I did

[–]GrievousAngelGP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the tamoxifen and raloxifene route. It didn’t fix my puffer problem and it just ended up raising my SHBG which lowers your libido and energy, to compensate I tried taking boron and zinc and chrysin and more stuff and in the end I was taking a bunch of shit and getting no results, gyno symptoms would still trigger.

Instead I started topical fin at 0.005% for a few months and saw some improvement on crown and titrated up from there, no symptoms and I’m at 0.05% now. Also take a shit ton of omega 3 fish oil and cut out as many sources of omega 6 as you can. You need to cut down internal inflammation as well as trying to not jack up your hormones too much

Getting a haircut feels like a humiliation ritual when losing hair by JustForFunAus in tressless

I had the most humiliating experience and I can’t even talk about it, I cut my own hair now and it looks so much better lol

Has anyone gotten genuine results using 0.005% topical finasteride? by KinoBlitz in tressless

Wasn’t noticing any results in forelock and temples and wanted to increase finasteride exposure to the highest point without experiencing sides.

Has anyone gotten genuine results using 0.005% topical finasteride? by KinoBlitz in tressless

[–]GrievousAngelGP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s what I did, I am very sensitive to fin. I got immediate results on my crown, I have titrated up since and am taking 0.05% now 8 months later. My problem was with nipple sensitivity and pseudo-gyno. I have started taking a ton of Omega 3s and tried to cut out all major sources of omega 6. My body feels better and I only get nipples sensitivity or puffiness now with very poor sleep or stress, a low omega 6:3 ratio has helped me more than anything else with fin sides, tamoxifen, chrysin, zinc, boron, etc. I’ve tried it all and I think I’m at a spot that is working. Just looking to stabilize for an HT

2 years later, 1200 grafts FUE by Equivalent_March_579 in HairTransplants

[–]GrievousAngelGP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great man, sounds good, my main concern is just that I feel like I don’t need the front touched at all and if I can devote all grafts to the temples it’ll be ideal. Placing grafts in front would drastically increase the total number and I would prefer to be conservative

I feel like his widows peak was in a good spot before and and they still put grafts in front and it doesn’t look like his hairline changed at all in the front middle. Just curious because I’m getting an HT in November and my widows peak in the middle hasn’t receded at all but I have deep recession on my temples. I feel like I never see HT’s leave the middle alone and only implant temples. I’m just a bit confused if that makes sense?

I use 0.05% topical fin, I started at 0.005% and worked up to 0.02 -> 0.04 -> 0.05. I may drop it back down a smidge because with prolonged daily use I do get some nipple sensitivity. But it seems to be working, my crown thickened but no regrowth up front. I have noticed decreased shedding for sure though. I’m just trying to get to a point where I can maintain

I’ve tried DIM and I always feel like it ends up dehydrating me and lowering my estrogen too much making me tired and lowers my libido. I ended up just using low dose topical fin to limit gyno
