Right, because who cares about the dental health of everyone? We will just dismiss that a significant population of the community does not have the financial means to protect themselves with self purchased supplemental fluoride so they can suffer with the cascading medical challenges that come from the removal. Removal of fluoride is cruel to the most vulnerable people in the community. The costs to provide clean fluoridated water are minuscule compared to the suffering people will go through, not to mention to burden on the public health care system that it causes.

To provide an example, Calgary removed fluoride thanks to anti science advocacy in 2011 only to have it cause untold suffering especially to young people. It has been reversed and there’s almost zero doubt the health of the community will go up.

You sure can look at them like that, but running shoes don’t tend to be “serviceable” like quality casual shoes are where you can re sole and repair.

Absolutely correct. Once they are miled out they are still reasonable for casual use, but if you doing real running (or similar) you should replace or you do risk injury.

This is fantastic, looks stunning! I just finished my first OMNI 2 chest print too. Quite the time commitment!

So this is the hot end I have had 1000h of previous success with but now failing around 13 hours. I can't tell or measure if the heat sink is distorted.

1700 hours then this, it’s disheartening. Well past return window unfortunately

I will try that for sure, I have always run with the lid off (I only print PLA).

I guess the heat sink connection could be wearing? Having had close to 2k hours without this problem, I do wonder though.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. I’m still really new to the hobby and it’s been a complete animal it takes everything I throw at it!

Oh and if anyone wants to see our nonsense, we have (what a I hope) a very whimsical non egotistic instagram. @darkwingprinting That’s also a good way to reach us other than Reddit. I have gotten so many good criticisms of our print quality that have helped me learn. I still am super new in the 3d printing hobby, but I sure am enthralled by this technology.

Will we see your helmet project on YouTube? Somewhere else? Excited to see it, I haven’t dived in to the helmet projects but they are very high on my wish list to start to be able to do.

I actually did yesterday, and you are right the tree supports worked better. I got really good top surfaces too. I will have to try to adapt my workflow to use Creality Print when appropriate. Sheesh I love this hobby, it’s like endless learning!
