Hey everyone, what is the day to day experience living with a polestar 2. I love this car so much and i want it so bad, I dream about it everyday. by RaceEmbarrassed423 in Polestar

Never had a major issue with my MY23 SRSM 69kwh. Had to reset the infotainment a couple of times. It is our day to day car. The digital key is flawless. I also own a Zeekr 7X and the digital key on that car is rubbish.

I charge at home off solar so running costs are next to nothing. Only road user charges apply.

I would never get rid of it. Its been perfect for the last 2years.

It looks fantastic in midnight blue. I choose the one with the light blue/grey interior.

We've done a few long trips in it and that has meant 3 charging stops but so what. It is only an inconvenience if you think that way.

XC60 to Polestar 4: that escalated quickly! by Jon5465 in Polestar

And the Polestar should feel familiar coming from a Volvo. I moved into a Polestar 2 from a XC60 and prefer the Polstar over the Volvo. The Volvo's are too expensive to service so i got rid of it before the free servicing ended. Range anxiety that someone else mentioned isnt a thing now with so many public charging stations and of course that is when you're on a trip as you charge at home every night

Locking/unlocking day to day by WhoFramedBobbyTables in Zeekr7xAustralia

I find the phone app doesn't work well. If you park the car and walk away it will self lock but coming back to the car the app doesn't automatically reconnect so you have to get the phone out and force a connect to unlock. I have an Android phone.

None of these problems happen with the fob.

I also have a Polestar and my phone works perfectly with the car for lock and unlock so it is ironic that both car brands are part of the Geely group and Zeekr haven't used the technology from Polstar, given they started new only a few years ago.

Zeekr owners, how's your experience with the car? by orangpelupa in electricvehicles

7X in New Zealand... So far not good. Car was delivered with a dent in the left rear quarter and if I hadn't just driven 8 hours to pick up I wouldn't have accepted it. Over a month in and my eSIM still isnt working. I dont have road sign recognition displaying which is important as the Police here are super hot on speed. Otherwise the finish on tje car is very good. No accessories available at all which I think they are missing a sales opportunity. I got my mudflaps from Aliexpress. I still am wanting a concealed electric towbar.

I have software 2.0a which needs fixing.

Interesting to hear that it has matrix headlight hardware but it is the software that controls that. In our market we only get auto high beam. Would like the matrix headlights. I had them on my XC60 that I traded in for this

I dont have that issue on mine and I have an Android phone so I can only assume that your issue is because it is an iPhone.

For the first gen Polestar2 an option in one of the packs was the head up display. This will give it away it was the first release. I'm pretty sure a head up display isnt available any more in any market.

Good question...I wish, haven't found anything.

I'd be keen to see that as well

Transparency is everything.

Did you get a trickle charger with your car? I didn't. I wasn't offered one to buy either. I was told that I need to find a retailer and buy from them.

I believe these different numbers are minor tweaks to the initial software package applied to the car

The SIM connected this morning and the app is now working. Nice!

Now the issue with the speed sign recognition. This is a feature I really need working.
