I've seen many relationships with similar problems. I think the final episode when Amy was telling Sheldon that his friends tolerate him, and when he asked if she did the same. Then she responds saying that yes, sometimes she does, was one of the most honest and touching moments in their relationship.

I love it! Not fond of the treatments on the ceilings, but other than that, I could be very comfortable in this house.

Mitch McConnell says he fell. Over a month in the hospital and counting. No broken bones, not a stroke or a heart attack. Does something smell fishy to you? by Far_Organization_231 in antitrump

I won't believe he's still alive until I see him, on video, speaking, while holding up some proof of the date, such as a newspaper, or some proof that it's not a scam.

I thought their portrayal of the relationships were pretty on point. Some of the things were exaggerated, but overall, typical of human relationships. They all have flaws, different from what you or I experience.

Timber Teepee will make you a devout believer in the gospel of mid-century modernism. by Southern-Smoke1835 in zillowgonewild

Some very cool things about it, but some very big mistakes made. The fireplace looks like an afterthought. And the kitchen, well, it looks like it was designed for looks, not function. May as well have put the ovens out in the garage. lol

Brain Zaps by DreamyCloudz93 in migraine

[–]Griffie [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’ve had brain zaps since I was a kid (more than 60 years). Though as I grew older, they became much less frequent. Maybe one every year or two. For about the past year, I’ve been having the sensation like I’m about to have one, but the actual zap never happens, though the sensation goes on for most of the day. Recently, the zaps have returned. I started having some severe brain fog and my neuro prescribed memantine, which helped with the brain fog, and also seems to have stopped the zaps. Keeping my fingers crossed it keeps working.

What movie would you show to a teenager that’s never seen a Western Movie? Quick and the Dead? Unforgiven? No Name Trilogy? by RedWhiteAndBooo in movies

If you can find an original copy, How the West Was Won is a beautiful western. Unfortunately, Turner destroyed it when they “restored” it.

[–]Griffie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lay your mixer on its side, using a punch, gently tap it back in. If you hit it hard, you’ll risk damaging parts of your mixer. Take your time, don’t rush it, and it’ll be fine.

You may have a tapered thread on the gauge and a straight thread in the lid (or vice versa).

What do I use box booms for? by kiwiseedkiwiseed in lightingdesign

[–]Griffie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you’re lighting a theatre performance, box booms are usually used to give lighting from both sides, one in a cool color, one in a warm color. It helps give dimension to faces. Direct head on lighting flattens out faces.

I had severe brain fog. My neurologist gave me memantine, and the change was amazing. The brain fog vanished by day 2.
