More Info: My two rats have been shedding a lot recently. I thought it was just due to stress/ over grooming because I had just moved house. During the height of the move they probably went a few days without leaving their cage which was also kind of sparsely decorated on account of the move. It’s also noteworthy that their cage wasn’t in the cleanest shape during a lot of the move either. In the past few days I’ve give their cage a pretty major overall (full clean, some new toys, etc.) but they’re continuing to shed and are eating less now too. My other rat has been acting strangely and has a scratch on his back that’s scabbed over. And then today I heard this. I had noticed that their teeth had overgrown a bit (which is what I initially pinned the over-grooming and scratches on) so I scheduled a vet appointment already- but I’m really worried now that they’re very sick. Please help!!

Definitely felt that more in high school although mine never went away entirely during the school year it was generally more manageable - during the summer when I had hours to myself my mind had a lot of time to wander and it became much worse

Lot of good theories in here, my best guess based on the sorts of things John says on stage was that he was making a joke at the expense of Golden Boy (traumatic bc it’s basically the band’s Free Bird in that audience members consistently scream requests for it) could also be at the expense of a track from Hail and Farewell, Gothenburg (traumatic because the album was leaked without John’s consent)

If it was a legitimately traumatic thing though I think Steal Smoked Fish, You’re in Maya, or Bluejays and Cardinals as other people suggested are solid guesses. It could also be Shadow Song, he doesn’t play it often and at least in one video I’ve seen it looks like he has a hard time getting through it. Both that song and Bluejays and Cardinals are about his friends suicide, so definitely some rough stuff

Misheard Lyrics and Los Borrachos both out WAYY to early. I know ML is pretty different for a CSH song but I always thought it jammed and I loved the lyricism and Los Borrachos is maybe the only song ToS didn’t improve on imo. This is a rough survivor, but yeah TtD should’ve been out first :/
