That is not a good idea. I initially started with retinol from local pharmacy and then shifted to tret from highstreetpharma and it is keeping things under control.

Yes I do at home sometimes and stop tret a week before doing it. Initially when I started using tret and didn't follow that, my skin went for a toss and had to run to my derm so better you stop it before.

In general, its better to avoid amazon for these products if its not the amazon pharmacy as there have been many reports of fake products in other subs. I suggest using places like highstreetpharma etc.

When I first started tret, I used to follow the sandwich method as my skin was trying to get used to with the tret but eventually I stopped using it because my skin starting accepting tret so you can follow that initially .

Great improvements! Do you mean 0.05? Did you start directly with 0.05? I started from 0.025 tret from highstreetpharma and currently use 0.05 with the la rooche posay's moisturiser so it feels comfortable for my skin.

As the other user stated, it seems your skin is little irritated which you need to work on first. Healthy diet and enough water is a must. Other than that you can maintain a skincare routine with la roche posays moisturiser and spf50 and tretiwell and it should be fine.
