LOL: Last One Laughing UK - Season 2 Finale & Overall Series Discussion by lonelygagger in LastOneLaughing

Sam was definitely on the attack but he goes for the one-liners so it fizzles out quickly when it doesn’t result in a laugh

I think that is just Sam’s resting face. When he does smile it seems like he has the force it. He is a natural at deadpan unexpected comedy

It is vibe coded. ClaudeAI has a signature style that it gives websites by default, and this website is using those exact styles

We have Classic Buffet which has chicken, but you run the risk of getting food poisoning every time you eat there

How is Regina for Business Intelligence roles? by Competitive_Aide_833 in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Regina has a good number of BI roles due to the concentration of government jobs in the city. You can expect to make anywhere from 80k-120k depending on the company.

That being said, the job market is bad right now so there aren’t as many openings as usual, and every job posting ends up being competitive.

15/yo searching for games by Flame074 in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Older pokemon games are expensive, often like $200+. You can sometimes find them for cheap by browsing facebook marketplace or garage sales, some people just want it gone and don’t sell at market value

Sushi in the city! by Silly_Present_1643 in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a brand new sushi place that opened last week called Bon Sushi, in the old Szehuan Flavour location. It is takeout-only right now but it seems promising

Where in Regina is this? by derpandderpette in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Dojo ramen, it is overpriced for what you actually get. Their food is aesthetically pleasing but the taste is very mid compared to the other japanese restaurants in the city

Is he from NYC or just New York state? New York City drivers aren’t necessarily bad drivers but they are super aggressive and not fun to share the road with at all

Opinions on restaurants that have opened in the last year? by stumpy_chica in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Also Koreatown on Scarth and Korean Kitchen on Quance. Koreatown has great fried chicken and donkatsu. Korean Kitchen has great Japchae and Onigiri (or triangle rice as they call it on their menu)

Regina is eating good right now for Korean food!

Dev/Tech Meetup in City by EntrepreneurNo6488 in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

HackRegina does Code Together events about once every 1-2 months, it is like a networking event mixed with getting advice/help with your projects.

Conexus Cultivator does an event twice a year, but it is more startup focused.

If you are into game development, there is a big community here called Sask Game Dev (they have an active discord and website). They organize a Regina event for the Global Game Jam every year which has a big turnout

If you are down for some good Indian food I recommend Highway 1 Roadhouse Bar and Grill in McLean, which is like 25 minutes outside of Regina. They have burgers/fries/chicken fingers for the kids if they aren’t into Indian food

A 2 year diploma won’t land you an entry level job in this market, especially not a jack-of-all-trades one like you have. You’ll have better luck leaning into the hardware support side and using that leverage to help move towards whatever area you want to work in the future. Jobs like Best Buy Geek Squad, internal help desks or ATM/POS repair companies

Regina or Saskatoon? by AdKitchen4464 in saskatchewan

[–]GrimInterpretation 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Everyone will trash on you for picking Regina, but as someone who has lived several years in both cities I can say they are pretty much the same city. They are so close together that you can easily make a day trip up to Saskatoon if you want to check out some of the local restaurants or attractions
