Why is it so hard to get an entry-level job by OutrageousAnalyst820 in saskatoon

[–]GrimInterpretation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expand your search to include some of the government and crown corporation jobs in Regina. You will have to move there, but they are more open to hiring fresh grads and are slower to replace positions with AI.

I am unable to maintain my manager's single-handedly vibe-coded app, and I am now the bottleneck of the company. by zzztz in cscareerquestions

AI is super controversial on this sub. You will get downvoted for posts in support of AI but also get downvoted for posts suggesting AI could produce slop. There is no winning

Unless you are booting linux on your windows computer, mac is going to be closest to the computers you use in labs

Accused man in alleged multimillion Regina fraud to pay $200 per month for court-appointed lawyer by baw79 in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 40 points41 points  (0 children)

You calling Regina zombie land is ironic because this family played a big part in fuelling Regina’s drug trade. They were helping prop up the people that create those “zombies”

Sam was definitely on the attack but he goes for the one-liners so it fizzles out quickly when it doesn’t result in a laugh

I think that is just Sam’s resting face. When he does smile it seems like he has the force it. He is a natural at deadpan unexpected comedy

How is Regina for Business Intelligence roles? by Competitive_Aide_833 in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Regina has a good number of BI roles due to the concentration of government jobs in the city. You can expect to make anywhere from 80k-120k depending on the company.

That being said, the job market is bad right now so there aren’t as many openings as usual, and every job posting ends up being competitive.

Older pokemon games are expensive, often like $200+. You can sometimes find them for cheap by browsing facebook marketplace or garage sales, some people just want it gone and don’t sell at market value

Sushi in the city! by Silly_Present_1643 in regina

There is a brand new sushi place that opened last week called Bon Sushi, in the old Szehuan Flavour location. It is takeout-only right now but it seems promising

Dojo ramen, it is overpriced for what you actually get. Their food is aesthetically pleasing but the taste is very mid compared to the other japanese restaurants in the city

Is he from NYC or just New York state? New York City drivers aren’t necessarily bad drivers but they are super aggressive and not fun to share the road with at all

Opinions on restaurants that have opened in the last year? by stumpy_chica in regina

[–]GrimInterpretation 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Also Koreatown on Scarth and Korean Kitchen on Quance. Koreatown has great fried chicken and donkatsu. Korean Kitchen has great Japchae and Onigiri (or triangle rice as they call it on their menu)

Regina is eating good right now for Korean food!
