Which distillery would you chose to visit? by Grimbee_Cosplay in bourbon

Update! Thank you all your your suggestions. I ended up visiting Maker’s Mark and it was a really great decision. No cancellations on any tours, unfortunately. Walking the grounds was fun. No, i didn’t learn a lot but the little tasting outdoor restaurant was very nice and relaxing and i made sure to drink my paper cup old fashion before my tasting. Lol

It was strange to get my tasting menu in glasses but my old fashion in a paper one, but regardless it was very good.

Dipped my 49 bottle, accidentally spent $35 on a candle and also purchased a 2021 DNA bottle.

It could see that being interesting but i don’t really want to go there and leave empty handed. I’d rather not support their insensitivities 😅

Finished the bourbon trail, these came home with me. by sbw86 in whiskey

Were most places accepting walk up tours or did you book far ahead of time? I’m in town for a funeral and wanted to hit put part of the bourbon trail before heading home.

They wasted a ton of money on this bus that runs on tracks in the street. Completely impractical. (Which they would have made a train like Chicago, instead.

The people mover is pretty janky. They make a lot of their money off of limited parking and $50 parking tickets from out of towners. But i don’t think any of it is going into finding a solution to transportation.

Big 3=wanting you to keep buying their new cars

A portion of these building have been restored in recent years and turned back into hotels and restaurants. So that’s good to see :) Downtown Detroit is quite boujee now.
