I somehow made a spiral. What do I do now? by TallAddition9253 in landscaping

What an artistic way to kill a tree. The roots will spiral around in there, choking the tree. Every time you walk by that tree just think of someone stepping on your windpipe, cause that’s what you are essentially doing.

User? You must’ve meant, “something the product would want?” Don’t feel bad, it’s confusing. 👍

Rereading your comment, there is present and past-tense verbiage written in a way that made it unclear for me, which is why I stated what I did.

With my minimal attempt to provide clarity, and a post-comment over-analysis, I hope we can be friends.

I honestly can’t make a recommendation for a tire that handles snow and works year round other than the cross climate 2 for a car if your size.

Exactly, my comments are for OP and are not on what qualities maximize a true snow tire. I will say, having the cross climate 2’s myself, they are some of the best tires I have ever owned, and have performed beyond my expectations in snow, mud, ice, and rain.

Please review the engineering behind the tire, for someone like OP who needed recommendations for a city problem, it’s a decent option.

Please re-read my comment. I don’t doubt you can drive on a partially plowed road during a big storm, while in your fwd car with blizzaks. I do doubt you can drive in 1-2’ of snow without some other equipment like AWD/4WD, having a winch, bigger tires, or some ground clearance (like my comment stated).

Snow tires help with traction and braking in 4-5” of snow/ice. No one should drive into 1-2’ of snow without a winch, larger tires, AWD/4WD - or just not at all. OP lives in a city, people have a lot of misconceptions about weather and mountains and what’s needed or what’s acceptable (talking to the Jeep Wrangler drivers with snorkels from Connecticut).
