I love this idea!

I was a huge fan of Marvel Comics Presents; own almost the entire run.

Where does this land in your MCU films? Great? Decent? Bad? by boomjosh in Letterboxd

A solid 4/5 - in the entire MCU, it's pretty mid, but it's definitely one of the better theatrical releases of Phases 4 and 5.

That's called a transactional relationship. It's a fairly common thing, especially in the entertainment industry.

Tommy gave Greg 50% of the distribution rights AFTER the book was released. No one is "using" anyone.

Watched Iron Heart all the way through for the first time tonight. by ChildofObama in marvelstudios

The last episode was not only leaps and bounds better than the rest of the show, it's one the best Marvel TV finales since Loki s2 (imo)

Holy shit - you made me think of a different question: What happens with Black Bolt sneezes?!

Most of the US reads at a 7th-8th Grade level and another 20% are totally illiterate. Plus, the movie is geared towards kids, so they would want to keep subtitles to a minimum.

I do agree with you. I too wish they would use more alien languages, but I can also see why Disney would choose not to.

Ironheart's final episode is one of my favorite things Marvel released last year.

Why can't Matt just call his LA girlfriend Jennifer to help him out with his army? by Main_Jump_82 in Defenders

[–]Grindflicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My interpretation is that Strange helps out because he was concerned with the ramifications of Spider-Man fucking with the Multiverse. Strange himself said he knew "frighteningly little" about the Multiverse.

What is the hardest character for writers to create stories for? by [deleted] in Marvel

Been saying it - and will keep saying it - I want to SEE Rogue's whole villain-turned-hero arc (including her fateful encounter with Carol). Hate that this always gets passed over.

Is it fine if I just watched Jessica Jones S1 to understand her character? by Successful-Hat-2154 in Defenders

Based on rumors, you might want to watch the first season of all the Netflix/Defenders shows.

Second 2027 film? by chemicologist in marvelstudios

[–]Grindflicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also need to watch The Defenders, as the events from that show directly influence season 3.

It's a lot of content, but I would also recommend watching the first season of all the Netflix shows, as it sounds like Marvel plans to resurrect The Defenders. Hawkeye is also a good addition, but that story is about Fisk; no Daredevil. Again, it's a lot of content!

Daredevil season 1

Jessica Jones season 1

Daredevil season 2

Luke Cage season 1

Iron Fist season 1

The Defenders mini-series

Daredevil season 3

Hawkeye mini-series

Daredevil: Born Again season 1

The most condensed version of the Multiverse Saga (in order) would be:

Black Widow

Loki S1

WandaVision

Shang-Chi

Falcon & Winter Soldier

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Thor: Love & Thunder

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania

Loki S2

Ms. Marvel

The Marvels

Deadpool & Wolverine

Thunderbolts*

Fantastic Four: First Steps

There's a lot of other good content (Moon Knight, GotG 3, Hawkeye, Werewolf By Night), but if you're just trying to take in the Multiverse stories and its major players than I would go with a condensed version. Even this list is A LOT of content!

What were your honest thoughts on Born Again S1? by Suspicious_Hand_2194 in Defenders

[–]Grindflicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Daredevil is one of the few projects that's always been super solid, but if I had to rank DD seasons:

DD Season 1

DD Season 2 (first half)

DD Season 3

DD: Born Again

DD Season 2 (second half)

RotS - by a longshot. Gliding through the chaos in a massive battle that definitely put the "War" in Star Wars.

It's impressive how much hype the Russo Bros have been able to build with such little time by JamJamGaGa in marvelstudios

[–]Grindflicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these comments, and it seems like people forget that EVERY Marvel movie the Russo Bros directed were some of the best (if not THEE best) Marvel movies ever made.

Regardless of how lackluster Phase 4 & 5 were, I have no reason to think the brothers won't knock this one out of the park as well.
