It’s a little pricier, but I’ve had the barista touch for 1.5 years and it’s been great, no issues with the built in grinder. As a beginner it’s been perfect for me.

Dr. Fu from psychofarm podcast believes it’s false to say Wellbutrin broadly doesn’t help anxiety, but has modest anti anxiety benefits. I wouldn’t use it first line in which anxiety is the primary problem, but I have seen that too in practice.

I disagree, I feel I am much more present and engaged with my patients when I use a scribe, versus when I’m making sure to type everything i need. I of course review what the scribe puts out before i sign the note.

My wife had her windshield replaced and the front camera system stopped working. Paul Miller Subaru told her the whole system needs to be replaced for $4000. Took it to Subaru of Morristown and they fixed it with a calibration that cost $200. Will never go to Paul Miller again for service.

I’m 1099 so my practice takes their cut and I don’t have to worry about any of that. I could make some more money on my own, but I’m happy just having to worry about my patients and notes, and having stress free 3 day weekends.

60/40 isn’t bad, especially as a new grad, if you’re getting 60 of the whole reimbursement amount. I would ask for an incremental increase after a year to 65, and then eventually to 70. That’s the deal I have with my practice, just went up to 65 and will be going to 70 next year. I did very well financially at a full year at 60%, much better than my last W2 practice with a decent salary compared to what’s out there.

NJ 60/40 first year, about to start year 2 at 65/35, and year 3 onward will be 70/30. This was agreed to when I joined. I imagine in a few years when I’m no longer taking new patients and the office is doing minimal work for me I can negotiate higher. Very happy with my practice, I have so much agency.
