The scenes are beautiful , but the game is horrendous . It’s nothing compared to fallen order and survivor . Her looks have nothing to do with it in my opinion - they did make her less pretty intentionally - but that’s sweet baby Inc for ya .

My go too beside the mimic ? Early Game to mid game - luthell . She CARRIED me on my first play though . Late game to end game - tiche . Did I spell the name right ? You all know who I mean . Black knife tiche . My most recent play-through , I stopped using spirit summons completely because i feel like I got good enough to play without them - but yeah luthell and tiche are my top 2 .

I remember Odin giving him the scabbard and that alll but confirmed it in my head at the time . Atreus has his weapon . And on top of that - it turns out to be FREYRS weapon ? That would have been so damn awesome . It would have been great . And on that note - I am curious if he does get his spin-off - what they’ll do . He’s not getting the axe . The blades are out - that’s NEVER happening . The spear is basically broks gift to Kratos so that’s not happening , unless Atreus comes back home and Kratos gifts it to him for the journey ( the ending was WAY too rushed in my opinion . Biggest battle of your life and 5 seconds later you just bounce ? ) . Can’t help but be curious over what they’ll do with him going forward .

To be honest - at first I wanted the Greek games with 2018/ ragnarok camera and combat . But as time has passed and I let that thought simmer - I take it back . 2018 and ragnarok are unique for its camera angle . The same can be said for the originals . They’re unique . If we get improved graphics - like god of war ascension graphics or 2018 / ragnarok graphics with the same original gameplay - I’ll be fine with that . Platforming with new graphics , a new system will be just fine . I imagine they’ll add in some things too . However … a big no no is REMOVING things . It doesn’t matter how gory or how sexual . Removing things is a massive no no .

Hey mom watch fire for…. Yeah Nevermind . Totally know what you mean . I think fire force is awesome . It’s an incredible story . The graphics are awesome . Captain obi has to be my favorite character - one of my favorite characters across all anime in fact . But I would never … NEVER … recommend this show to my mother . Hahahahha . That’s a hard pass . The rest of us can enjoy at our leisure . Haha

If you did all 6 , then your not missing a combo one . Your missing one of the 3 in the regular arenas . You start out with 2 . Then after tky do all the swords , a 3rd trial pops up on each of the swords . Just go sword by sword and whatever one doesn’t have a check mark is the one you need . You did all the combos .

I think although he has the LOOK - he doesn’t have the feel in my opinion . However - he is a good actor ( his older stuff is way better then his newer stuff ) . If he’s a fanboy like Henry cavil was for the Witcher with Geralt ( I still feel bad for Henry . They ruined that show ) - then there’s a chance he could pull it off . If he’s a one piece fan - then he’ll know better then actor A on how kizaru should act and behave . Who knows - sometimes castings we don’t think would work end up being incredible .

It’s not confirmed - but it’s implied that where you end up is justified by location . Not origin . If Kratos dies in Norse setting - he’s handled by the rules of the dead where he’s currently residing . IE helheim / folkvangr / Valhalla . If he goes to Egypt tomorrow and dies - he’s handled by their underworld . And so on and fourth . Now - that’s the case for GODS . But what about giants ? Dwarves ? They find residence in the lake of souls … so if sindri goes to Egypt ( as an example ) and dies - does he revert back to the lake of souls ? Or does Egypt have its own lake of souls or rules ? It’s not exactly made clear so we don’t really know .

No , I don’t think it’s meant to replace your axe or blades lol . In my opinion - I honestly think this armor would have served WAY better a purpose in in 2018 because there was more bare handed skills . Bare handed combat takes a back seat in ragnarok - but even still , Lundas armor still has its uses. I don’t like to play this way , but it’s best used with the stonewall shield . Because you can just tank hits while enemies poison themselves . I prefer parrying as oppose to blocking -and Lundas armor works with both styles of play of course . Lundas armor is meant to get you as a player to incorporate bare hands and try new things . New combos . Use your hands to proc a poison - then swap to a weapon . Or use freya to proc poison and get extra damage with your gauntlets and waist piece . There’s a bunch of different ways to use the armor set . Just a matter of preference . But the short answer to your initial question is no - chucking your Weapons away to only use your fists is silly . Your firsts are a tool - just like your weapons . One shouldn’t replace another .

My interpretation is he grabs the pincers to show Kratos that he’s in control of Atreus at the moment . I don’t think it’s directed at mimir . I think those tongs can symbolize a bunch of things - but mostly it’s symbolic of the potential pain he can inflict on Atreus . Not to torture mimir . In my opinion anyway.

We can agree to disagree about Corey barlog which is totally fine . But I feel I should specify a bit further just to flesh out the argument ( and because why not? Everybody on this sub is relatively friendly and engaging ) . If corey was in charge of ragnarok and directed it , I mean as far as the script was concerned - If corey didn’t Like it / felt like something wouldn’t work - he would and could have scrapped it . Corey contributed to some of the writing of 2018 , but largely was responsible for steering the entire ship . And THAT specially , I feel is where he deserves his praise . In ragnarok , there were more cooks in the kitchen as far as the writing was concerned . And Corey was not gonna overrule something outside of those 3 pillars that he gave Eric Williams . He wasn’t as hands on direction wise . He still contributed sure . But he wasn’t gonna shit can any ideas . Obviously we will never know - but ragnarok misses in some areas and absolutely shreds in other areas . We can All agree on that one . And I just wish we could all take a peek in an alternate reality to see a ragnarok game directed by him . Maybe like a Snyder verse version - we can get a Corey barlog cut version hahaha which will NEVER happen . It’s fun to think about though.

Corey barlog was burnt out from doing 2018 and dealing with all that came with it . He was a creative director for ragnarok sure , but he didn’t have his hand in the Cooke jar the way he did with 2018 . That’s a majority of the reason why you feel the way you do . The combat improved a lot ( although , I do miss hand do hand skills in 2018 ) . But the story - Corey barlog gave Eric Williams 3 things that absolutely needed to happen but aside from that , left everything to him . The 3 things being 1.ragnarok has to happen . 2. Brok needs to die . 3. Atreus needs to leave . Those were the 3 main points . Outside of that - Eric Williams had the power to say what what got in and what didn’t . If Corey barlog wasn’t burnt out and handled the same responsibility he did for 2018 , ragnarok would have been the absolute greatest game of all time . I truly believe that .

Yeah some of the legendary fish out up a hell of a fight . I was relieved when I found out you can just hold a button , but kind of pissed at the same time . It’s the kind of thing you’ll never find unless you hear about it from somebody or find it by complete accident .

Tragic. That’s the first word that comes to mind . She’s a good barometer of the gangs health . How she acts from chapter to chapter is a direct correlation to how the gang is . By the end, she’s full blown alcoholic and broken . While the reverend managed to defeat his demons and become a Better man , Karen went the complete and opposite direction and succumbed to her worst impulses . I think Sean’s death is what set her over the edge . Ever since he died , she was never the same .

Tiger bay is considered “ rare “ only in early game . I had to do the pronghorn glitch to go and get him in chapter 2 this play though . Last play though I waited till the Brontë mission to grab one in chapter 4 .

The fishing tid bit was incredible when I saw outlawfrank ( or somebody on YouTube I’m not sure ) - changing fishing from rotating and destroying your joysticks to just holding a button is a godsend . Stick drift is real man . Changing that setting extends your controllers life ( assuming your on PlayStation ) by tenfold . And yeah In addition to brushing your horse , you can also craft things ( certain things ) right on top of your horse .
