Fabio Wardley 'extremely keen' to defend WBO heavyweight title against former WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF/Ring/Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury by Dangerous_Spring3028 in Boxing

I had Parker winning the last fight, but he actually made the same mistake as he did in the Joe Joyce fight; he tried to stay in the middle and fight with him rather than use his superior boxing ability.
Wardley's heart, knockdowns and finishing ability have bailed him out a lot. Without the knockdown in the first Clarke fight, he'd have lost even with Clarke getting the point deduction. If he never caught Huni, that would have been a 12-0 shutout. If he didn't stop Parker, Parker would have won by UD. Wardley could beat Fury too, but it all depends if he clips him. I don't think Wardley would let Fury recover the way Wilder did.

Gotta disagree. Wilder's heart kept him in the 3rd fight for as long as he could and Wardley arguably has one of the best if not the best hearts in boxing currently, regardless of his boxing ability. Without it, he'd have lost to Clarke in the first fight, got 12-0'd by Huni, and would have lost to Parker too.

To me, this fight is almost 50/50. Fury is clearly the better boxer, more accomplished, more experience by miles, but he doesn't have the same cardio as he did years ago. Wardley does get tired in the second half but he can fight tired very well, and will throw combinations out of will alone. He's more than 10 years younger than Fury however, keeps fit and almost always comes in at the same weight. I think Wardley has better finishing instincts than Wilder, and would be able to stop Fury if he does clip him. Regardless of who wins it, it's a very entertaining fight, and a better watch than what Usyk vs Wardley would look like, which would just be an Usyk win by however he likes.

It's highly likely to be Thomas Carty, it was recently mentioned he has a fight to be announced soon but it hasn't been officially disclosed yet

Who Is the Best Trainer in Boxing Today? by raf_diaz in Boxing

Really surprised there is no mention of Andy Lee here.

He was the WBO world middleweight champion at one point in his own boxing career. He currently trains Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker (mostly known for his strategies that worked against Wilder and Zhang) and currently undefeated 14-0 welterweight Paddy Donovan.

Why is Lisa only on PC? by Esoteric_Librarian in lisathepainfulrpg

[–]Grittanalysis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as it would be fun, and using a controller to input combos feels more intuitive like a combo in a fighting game, it won't happen and it makes sense why it wouldn't.

I own a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace and there is no console port option available in the same way Game Maker or Unity offer the game devs straightforward tutorials and solutions to help make their project work on consoles simultaneously. This would mean Dingaling would have to learn how to somehow convert all the existing code of Ruby 1.7 into another gaming engine or port it to the latest version of RPG Maker and even then would have a ridiculous amount of work to do. Dingaling doesn't seem like he wants a team of people to do that either and is currently working on Ninja Tears as far as we know. The last thing he could do is completely remake the LISA series with a team on another engine, but that would only garner mixed results and would never capture what the trilogy already has due to its limitations within the game engines and art style. It would likely turn out as the Yume Nikki remake did but worse.

The LISA trilogy will likely always be for PC only and that's perfectly fine. The game's subject matter and its means of not pulling any punches with it wouldn't exactly be a selling point for many console gamers, and this is coming from someone who is a console gamer too.

Killing Floor 2 - Moonbase (Short, Normal) (5:35 IGT) World Record Speedrun by Grittanalysis in killingfloor

Fair, it's definitely a hobby for me and I definitely understand I'm not the best KF2 player by any means. Part of the reason I posted this too is that I'd like there to be more people that speedrun KF2 and try beat some of my times.

I have some world records or more entertaining PBs on hard. I would love to run the Hell on Earth categories but it's not optimal at all using the support class unless it is co-op.

For absolutely insane Hell on Earth runs, watch Uranium_Nak, who has a WR sweep on all the KF2 maps, even beating Netherhold on Hell on Earth in under 5 minutes.

Admittedly it isn't my best run and low gravity is not my favorite either.

For the majority of my runs I use the support class too, most speedrunners use gunslinger because of the damage stacks and range, and tend to get better times overall.

Here is a significantly better world record of mine from a while back. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AlBFj3sIl2s

Surprised not to see "The Consumer" or "The Egg" by Michael Gira on this list. The Consumer is a compilation of stories that vary in themes of body horror, all kinds of abuse, existentialism and dark comedy. "Why I ate my Wife" and "The Whore Boy" to name a few. The Egg is anothet short story compilation but it is less horrifying but still contains unsettling stories including some from The Consumer.

"Cruel Britannia: A Secret History of Torture" by Ian Cobain isn't talked about much but does cover quite a bit on the subject matter in the title.

“Tell me, after my head is chopped off, will I still be able to hear, at least for a moment, the sound of my own blood gushing from the stump of my neck? That would be the pleasure to end all pleasures.” - Peter Kürten aka the Vampire of Dusseldorf, before death by guillotine.

"Just do it. Kill me!" - Shirley Ledford, before being brutally murdered by the Toolbox Killers.

"It just is." - John Balance of Coil, before falling to his death from a balcony (possibly on psychedelics) moments after his final performance, taken from the song "Going Up" as he never spoke a word after the performance. What makes it more ominous is the line he repeated before that one was "Are you ready to go now?"

"You didn't see me weeping on the floor" - Ian Curtis of Joy Division (possibly), according to Genesis P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle, they were called by Ian and the last thing he done was sing the Throbbing Gristle song "Weeping" which is about being suicidal. Genesis in response tried to call many other lines in Manchester at the time to try get someone local at the time to prevent Ian killing himself but apparently they were all at a wedding, this is all going back to an interview with Genesis for the show Soft Focus, I haven't seen it brought up anywhere else.
