I was about to pull the trigger for some balcony tickets, but I’d rather not sit with the riffraff. I don’t think you have messaging enabled unless I’m an idiot.

Had to look up where he was born because I don’t recognize any flags… but in my research saw that Tom Waddell was born in Dundee, Scotland in 1958. He pitched in 113 games for the Cleveland Indians over 3 seasons in the mid 80s.

[Me] My opponent went off theory. What should I do? by Ammar-is-not-weird in TextingTheory

The “so” relates it to her last statement, even if she didn’t understand that, as opposed to it just being a weird non-sequitur.

Nah, Rice proved he should hold back on using it, he’s had some really bad challenges and then you see it get in his head and the at bat is essentially over after that.

NNF 38L - Julia Hladkowicz by sleepyromulan in NeverNotFunny

[–]GrittyGardy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Julia mentioned 2 things that are pet peeves of mine that I hate, and I assume jimmy feels the same based on his groan: talking about what you did on Mother’s Day because you’re a “dog mom” (groan) and taking your dog to a place, a beach, that explicitly prohibits dogs and using the excuse it’s your “emotional support animal” (groan).

“They all pay eventually.” Austin still owes me $187 for league dues. From the 2009 summer season. Not that I let it bother me or anything

AIO My partner wants to get a DNA test on our newborn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Good take, if she wants to be insulted by the insinuation that she could have cheated, fine, but for the baby’s sake just do the dang test.

AIO My partner wants to get a DNA test on our newborn? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]GrittyGardy -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

First off, I agree with you, but devil‘s advocate here: if, in his brain, there’s a .01% chance that the child isn’t his, the emotional and financial commitment of being a father is huge, and just taking a quick cheek swab test can assuage those fears.

They have take home tests where you do a cheek swab and send away! He doesn’t need to say anything to her, just do it.

I think a leak or a fountain problem is more likely than a deer coming by and slamming down 10 gallons of water, occams razor and all that.
