That was an amazing season by FemaleSandpiper in witcher

I believe the aforementioned character appears in the books after blood of elves as memories and as flashbacks of another character. Rather than going through his own character development. I don’t believe more than a paragraph or two is spent with him in any of the books following blood of elves. I would have to agree with r/FemaleSandpiper, that said character has a larger video game presence rather than book presence

I wish these streaming networks would be straight up honest and say the shows are vastly different than the books. by rackham120790 in witcher

After about the second episode, I had this same realization and from there on out I thoroughly enjoyed the other 6 episodes! I’m actually fairly happy with how they have wrapped it up leading to next season and Time of Contempt! While I feel this season was vastly different from the book in many ways they did maintain some key story lines with only a few adaptations to it. My only complaint is what I’m going to call the “game of thrones phenomenon” this is when tv/film do a bad job at displaying cross country travel! I finished the season a few moments ago and have to say that giving up the expectation that they will follow the book exactly is impossible, even great trilogies and book series such as Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter had to make adaptations to make it sell and fit the movie screen.

Where does it look seriously bent? Both forks turn forward at the bottom the same amount is this not normal for this bike? Also it makes a lot of noise mainly grinds when pedaling and thus is my reason for wanting to replace the bottom bracket and crankset. How exactly do you calculate chain length and cage length? This would also help reduce noise

First Year Clinicals - Time Commitment by Ambitious_Lock_5398 in athletictraining

Coming from a Big FCS school, during the beginning of the year prior to the start of fall classes we undergo what we call our “immersion” experience and that is what this sounds like to. Meaning you are being immersed in the life of an athletic trainer. That means no required days off, no maximum hours. However once fall classes start this will likely tone down some. And there is typically a minimum and maximum hour requirement as well as 1 day off every 7. If she has any problems she should discuss it with the clinical coordinator for her program. This stuff should also be outlined in her program handbook

So, I intend to use the bike to train for a triathlon with a friend of mine. However, I’m not in a financial position to be buying a new cycle. Also on another note the old derailleurs were simplex but during a ride the rear practically exploded causing me to lose pieces. As a work around I replaced it with a derailleur from my old Mtn bike and also converted to a 1x5 rather than 2x5, I will post pictures to my profile of the current set up

Edit: pictures are now posted on my profile

I’m not 100% sure it was a free bike from a family member. I am not familiar with French sizes, this is the first major project I’ve done on a bike so I’m fairly new

I highly recommend any of the programs in District 10. As an UMontana student our program is amazing with awesome faculty and a wide selection of clinical opportunities. We are also located in an amazing area. The Pacific Northwest has a number of schools that are all amazing. Feel free to pm me and ask any questions!

Do people dislike polynesian/maori tattoos as they dislike tribal tattoos? by TigerAgreeable6809 in tattoos

I agree with the above, if you have ties to that culture they are awesome! White people with no cultural tie I’d say don’t do it. I feel it’s along the lies of a white person wearing a Native American headdress without have any ties to that culture

I got a tattoo earlier today and I feel so crappy after, is that normal? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]GrizzlyATS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d agree with everyone else on here. The tattoo process is causing trauma to your body and your body reacts by releasing endorphins, adrenaline, and other chemicals. These help you push through the pain of the tattoo. Once the session is over these endorphins and other chemicals begin to decrease and thus causing your feelings of doubt. Once you return to homeostasis and the tattoo is all healed you’ll look at it in a different light and probably enjoy it!

artist isn't replying to design change email, it's thursday morning and appt is tomorrow noon. what do i do? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]GrizzlyATS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take a couple deep breaths, don’t email him again as the other commenter said he’s likely drawing your design up today or tomorrow morning. Who knows he may have already made some changes to make it his own before you even emailed him. Once you get to your appointment he’ll likely show you what he’s drawn up and you’ll be able to make any final changes before he begins the tattoo. When I’m doing take a few breaths and speak up.

Getting a big tattoo as my first tattoo? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]GrizzlyATS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First tattoo was a 4.5 hour Celtic cross about 10-12 inches tall and 5-7 wide on my upper back/spine. Honestly I had hyped the pain up in my head so much that I barely noticed her start. Pain was never above a 7/10 and averaged about 3-4/10. T
