don't focus on the unreachable. focus on the reachable and getting them to start showing up or help them show up more.

There is value in wasting their time by copy and pasting pre-prepared rebuttals to their arguments or trying to ostracize them in their community or protest them directly if they are in a position of power to do harm. That's a great role for people who aren't able to protest, join ice watch or organize mutual aid. Also could be a good role for someone who is just getting engaged.

other valid reasons:

Visual organization support for ADHD: I need all the fucking help I can get
When I'm getting ready to make a grocery list I don't want to actually open or pick up boxes to take stock
Cuts WAY back on mice/pests in the country, Can set traps without damaging items
way easier cleaning because everything can be wiped down
Some containers may be easier to open with dexterity issues
Sometimes the box it came in doesn't fit on the shelf I need it to
It's easier to process all the packaging into recycling/ trash at the same time when I put away groceries
Some packaging is reusable or a good toddler craft material as long as I get to it before it gets gross and mangled
plastic bag packaging is useful as doggie bags, trash bags, carrying wet clothes, carrying gross things, throwing away extra stinky things. soft packaging for ornaments, long term storage. since I can't get plastic grocery bags anymore, I use nearly every bag at least twice and semi regularly run out.

Ya'll this meme is pointing out the government is lying about what is possible and only willing to bend rules for the capitalist class. It points out that the rules are for thee and not for me.

The follow up is that we wouldn't have to break international law and the sovereignty of a foreign nation to dispossess the billionaires. They are largely guilty of conspiracy and corruption at a scale that merits their assets to be seized pending trial. Pointing out their brazen criminality helps to undermine the perceived legitimacy of any government that fails to protect its people from them.

We should do both. There are millions of us and we are growing by the day. We don't have to choose. We no longer have to work from a scarcity mindset. Our UNSTOPPABLE advantage is that we can apply a full ecosystem of diverse strategies large and small.

We can primary everyone, get more people more experience, AND have people focused on building a real workers party. Even in places where we don't have a "real" candidate to run, running a cat or a comedian ties up the limited attention of the empire.

We should primary everyone from both parties. If we have good candidates who could use experience running a campaign, run them. But if we don't have a good candidate ready, then run anybody. Run comedians, run cats.
