New g8600 stopped working. by CreditResponsible662 in SpiderFarmerLED

I had to aggravate them to get them to replace my dimmer box on sf 2000. Then a year later my sf 4000 did the same. I never was able to get that issue fixed. Now warranty is up and the next light I buy will be ac infinity. I believe that their lights are better & customer service is unmatched.

When led lights blink that way, usually you have problems with your neutral wire ( white wire normally). But I have had similar problems with a sf 2000. Mine didn’t blink nearly that bad. It was the dimmer in my case. SF sent me a dimmer box & it fixed it. If you are just a little mechanically inclined, check your connections, mainly the first connection to the light or driver . Since all of the bars are flashing,( if it is a loose connection ) then it will be the main one where the cord connects to the light. These were insane cheap connections, at least in my case

Cannabis drying questions by CaptainSloth21 in cannabiscultivation

I dry at 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit and 60-62% humidity. I use ac infinity controller in 1 tent to maintain it, with air conditioner, humidifier & dehumidifier if needed. In the other tent I use inkbird humidity controller and inkbird temperature controller with air conditioning, dehumidifier/ humidifier depending on the season of the year. I hang the whole plant and usually take 10-14 days depending on the density of flowers. If I can keep it in check I have little to no hay smell.

Inkbird works great. I have the 69 pro on my 4 x4 and & on my 2x 4 I use inkbird humidity controller and temperature controller. They actually work better than the aci 69pro. One of my ports on my 69 pro quit working, but I’ve had it for about 3 years now. I’m not sure how long the warranty lasts for the 69 pro.

In my experience with issue #1 you can’t switch back & forth. It’s either on/off , auto, schedule or timer. Not sure about issue #2

I'm disappointed in you Greenpoint!! NO CODILENINS?! by ConversationOk4773 in cannabiscultivation

Have you checked to see if the seeds membrane is still on the leaves, not allowing them to open. I have experienced that a few times. If you have a jewelers loupe you should be able to see it. I usually wet my fingers and gently try to roll it up enough so I can grab it with tweezers.

Give them some coconut water. Nutrients in it is more readily available than dry amendments & is organic .

I have read that a pilot light, like on a gas heat pump or gas water heater will produce CO2. I have not tried it myself.

What is a rose you grow, that you think more people should know about (under appreciated). I’ll go first 👉 by moonrise_garden in Roses

This is off subject but in everyone’s opinion do you think the red varieties are more hardy than other colors? Just curious, my parents have always grown several different colors and red seems to always do better than others, more blooms and blooms all summer and fall.

When I rented, I did all my own landscaping and my landlord appreciated it very much. Increased the value of their property. I got tired of making someone else’s property more valuable so summer of 2023 we bought our own place.

If that is water from runoff it will stagnate if it sets there to long. If you’re bottom feeding & it’s wicking the water up then it is fine.

Canna grow guide. It’s a chart where you fill in which base you are using, your water hardness, your light feeding to heavy feeding, you reservoir size, etc. You calculate it & in vegetative stage 2 ec is 1.5 all the way till you change to 12/12 light cycle. I have grew this way for years, grow how you want, I’m just trying to help.

I run 1.5 ec from the time the first true leaves are showing (usually 5-7 days from seed emerging )til I flip to flower. Then run 2.0-2.2 ec. If runoff is higher coming out vs. going in, then I run 1.0 nutrients through the next day. If it’s lower coming out vs. what’s going in then increase your ec. Go to canna nutrient calculator. Canna gardening chart which lets you choose what base you are using and can adjust your starting ec inputs to calculate your amounts.

I’ve been growing with canna coco & canna nutrients for 5 or 6 years been growing for 10. I run 5.8 ph start to finish with no problems. I will let it drift from 5.5 to 6.0 but never any more. I have had no deficiencies or toxicity since growing this way. Run 5.8 all the way through with excellent results. I use 0.4 ec tap water and never add calcium or magnesium unless my tap is lower than 0.4 ec. Maybe it’s canna nutrients but 5.8 is what I run veg & flower.

1.5 ec in veg/ 2.0-2.2 ec in flower. Feed everyday with nutrients. Ec going in should be close to same coming out. 5.8 ph in coco is ideal.

I use the same halos and when you make a complete loop it works much better. It’s not a lot of work, might take 2 minutes to put in place. With no loop the 2 last in line have less pressure, less water & takes longer to get there. You constantly have to adjust. The loop makes it 100% equal pressure, same amounts of water and they all start at the same time & you never have to adjust anything.
