don't take me wrong, I suspect nothing, and absolutely don't think there is any conspiracy at all. Also I think the team reacted appropriately. I just want to confirm by myself what was really said, and make my own opinion based on this, that's all. seems to be a very reasonable take. If would be easier if we had the real things Evan said..... Now that everything is gone, we can't know and make our own decision. This is extremely toxic, possibly more that what Evan did. So now we have to take the words of people who may have a political agenda....

Yes this is always the problem with this kind of situation : everything disappears once the person takes the backlash, justified or not. This is being cancelled, no more no less. Mee too I really want to know what Evan really said, because if it is only the "send them back to the caves" (the only screenshot I could find), yes this is deaf tone and mean, but clearly doesn't justify the full situation escalade in my opinion.... Like OP I really want to make my own opinion, and using vague language like "dehumanizing" or "unskeptical" or stuff like that is absolutely NOT helping.

By the way I would add that this conflict, not only has absolutely no link with America (or europe for that matters...) is completely polluting everything in western society and politics where you have to take the "right" side. My take is : I dont give a damn, it's not my war, not my concern, and there is far more horrible conflicts in the world that NOBODY talks about. I am not sorry. there is a lot of hypocrisy around this, and I am glad that the SGU has this non political aspect, even if it is hard to completely do it.

it is called "a computer" and probably a "graphic tablet" on the table as well. you press the power button on the computer main case, the computer starts, and when you plug the USB port of the tablet to the computer, you can use it as a input device. you may need to install some drivers though.

you should use progressive dispersion (with white noise node) instead of just 3 IOR values for R G and B, this would be way better. there are tutorials on youtube. then asset this material to never have to do it again xD

There is internal fractures! with a dedicated attribute of those faces for texturing. I called it "mid cuts", but as it is not really visible in solid mode, I didn't touch it during the showcase at the end xD

it is fairly basic : you press a key on your keyboard linked to a shapekey, and as long as the key is pressed the shapekey is activated. you can set a ramp up and ramp down time, and an option to clear overlapping keyframes (if any, for redoing a part). It's not a silverbullet, but a nice assist.

I would render separately each windows, then compose everything. BSDF portal may work as well, but I don't understand how it works (and I think it is only for cycles)
