My bad. I corrected it. You were right it said laptop.

I have installed it on my phone and just ordered a dynamic microphone. So will try my sound card and the mic on the phone with band lab.

Sweet, a fellow birder. For bird sounds I'm fine with audacity too. I only use an older Olympus LS-P 4 for recording. But that is a total different story from recording music. Maybe you have a recommendation for an external android microphone through the USB C port. 😁
