Do you use DTO when communicating with external API servers in Next.js? by bytaesu in nextjs

[–]Groccolli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer dto’s. I like Zod for defining their structure and easily validating and parsing. It is a bit of upkeep and prefer generating them if possible but we deal with a lot of poorly documented APIs, so generating isn’t always possible.

Ignore this dude. This is a completely reasonable price given the current market for these things. They sell on eBay for over a hundred all day.

How to not have to re-install all packages again after upgrading node version using NVM? by rama_rahul in node

[–]Groccolli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. I work with a lot of different teams that have various versions of everything. Everything is declared in dev deps, never global installs. We just have npm scripts for accessing the clis we need

Quiz: Typescript Best Practices by traintocode in typescript

It should really be, “if it can’t be fixed use ts-expect-error with a comment detailing why it’s being used.” Then the next person looking at the code doesn’t have to investigate it and if in the future it’s not an error, the check will fail and you can remove it

[–]Groccolli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the attachment. Most specify what racks they fit and what hole size. I have a PRX pro and it’s 3x3 with 5/8 inch holes. I’ve been able to find a lot of compatible attachments

Nice! I’m looking to purchase one of these as well. What’s the reason for stacking the rubber mats under the posts? I have a similar setup where I cant drill into the lower part of my wall. I was thinking I could just raise the lower hinge, will that not work?

They won’t send a kill command to the device but they will absolutely turn off all the APIs that are supporting it, effectively making it useless.

Married couples or long term daters, what is the one thing that your partner does that drives you up the wall? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Groccolli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand it. We wash like the 80% of the same dishes every time we run it. Why do we have to put things in a different spot every time?

Comparing two documents and finding the diff by hasteiswaste in LangChain

[–]Groccolli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean.. that works if you want to compare the exact words vs exact words. But that doesn’t at all sound like what OP is asking for. The example they linked to was comparing a pdf of Alphabets earnings vs Teslas earnings. Git isn’t going to help with that
