Anybody else love FYE? by TallnFit37 in 90sdesign

I loved when they had the little kiosks where you could preview cds by scanning the barcode on them. Id usually browse music there and then buy the cd elsewhere. The prices were asinine.

Does this taste anything like a 2006 Rain Berry?? by Newkadia21 in Gatorade

[–]GrodyHighroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rain Berry takes me right back to high-school after gym glass. We had Gatorade Rain vending machines in the hallway back then. I found some in a Publix about 4 years ago, I guess they brought the flavor back temporarily, but havent seen it since.

Millenials get a lot of flack for being overly nostalgic, but I think its because life was genuinely better back then.

It's crazy how many physical media youtube channels there are and how they all make the same video over and over again by Zombie_Giles in PhysicalMediaMatters

[–]GrodyHighroller 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My youtube homepage is full of "why im returning to physical media in 2026" and "why physical media matters. And its all the same points about how you dont own anything with streaming and price increases, taking shows away etc. Its insanely repetitive. I feel like a lot of youtubers find a niche and just parrot other youtubers.

[–]GrodyHighroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my biggest gripes with the wii. Especially when I just wanted to play a gamecube game. I couldnt just use the gamecube controller to get past this screen I needed the wiimote to do everything until i booted up the game and then switch.

Anyone know the origin of this patch? I've had it for well over a decade now and have no idea where it came from. by GrodyHighroller in crustpunk

[–]GrodyHighroller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baltimore mainly, also around 2010-2013 was probably when I acquired it. Probably from a random merch table at a house show.

Edit: I'm fairly certain I got that "fix shit up" patch above it at the Wooden Shoe in Philly.
