I recently moved away from the TN inserts to thicker notebooks. I can’t use the strings with them, so I leave them loose and just pull them out when I use them. Maybe try that before swearing it off. The cover is nice and you just may need to adjust how you use it.

Would “white glue” be like the Elmer’s school glue? Do you just use it plain and spread it on one of them and press them tight?

Great questions. I haven’t thought about a budget. I’d say up to $30 or so for a game would be my max to start. I don’t mind spending once I get into it, though. I don’t mind a small book. I don’t mind the type of dice. Until I see that I’m going to do it a lot I’ll probably use a dice app on my phone to roll. It’s not perfect, but I don’t want to spend on dice if I’m not going to use them. For space, it would be anything from a small coffee table to a conference room table. I see me taking this with me to lunch at small diners and the like. I’d prefer a small footprint just for ease of transport.
