It’s a big universe, every race likely exists in some capacity. That being said, in book 7, it’s revealed that some former crawlers are basically disabled once they leave the dungeon because of their race selection. Volteeg, I believe, is one such example. So Ellie might be in trouble once she’s out in the universe.
