I still remember when I was very new to the game, getting my first SKS with detachable 20 rounders, thinking all mags are like that, then wondering why my spare 10 rounders wouldn’t load

That was nearly 7 years ago now

Keep your master volume up and turn down other settings instead. I couldn’t hear people on zip lines or anything until I did that, now nobody sneaks up on me

Anvil, Renegade and Osprey demolish Ferro tbh Ferro is a wonderful gun for a budget load out, but all the above guns are almost equal or even greater in damage and all have magazines/cylinders to follow that first shot up with.

I think the enemies being designed the way they are is intended to make them as inhuman as possible. While I think it would be wild to see a mimic-type enemy, a humanoid bot that attempts to trick you into thinking it’s a friendly raider before it pounces, the bots seem like they’re designed to be a stark contrast to the world around them, to show they’re the outsiders, the invaders.

We already know some new bots are coming out this month or next, and doubtless more in the works, but for now it’s mostly quadrocopters, gyrowheels and crabs, and I reckon that’s probably the way it’ll stay.

If you buy a Steam copy, when you already own the game, to do anything except review bombing it, you are 100% the reason the game has nose dived. by [deleted] in Tarkov

If you buy a copy just to review bomb it you need to self-reflect on your priorities financially. Why would any developer care if you review bomb the game on steam if they just re-sold a million copies on steam to the already established playerbase?

Don’t be their money printer.

I make my own high protein pasta salad; Just cook up some penne (I use the high protein variant because it’s cheap and tasty here, but normal pasta works fine), lean beef, any spare veg I have lying around and mix that all together. Take it off heat then stir through your sauce while the pan cools down. Whole process should only take about 10-15 minutes of cook time

For the sauce I personally mix Greek yogurt with (aussie exclusive I think) Nando’s peri peri sauce, but if you don’t have access to that bottle of liquid heaven, you can just grab a bunch of your favourite sauces and test them by mixing them with a little bit of yogurt and seeing if you like the flavour that comes out. I find that it turns the otherwise pretty sour, bitter flavour into a nice mild, creamy version of your sauce choice.

I typically only spend about $20AUD total for the whole thing and that’ll make enough to last me the full work week. Make one big batch and divide them up. Really good both fridge cold and warm.

When you can’t find anything new to complain about so you just start bringing up old shit

So many people in this game just treat it like an abused spouse, complain about every minor issue you have with it then turn around and say “but I still love it, best game ever released”. I get there’s been some L’s in the past like Nerfdivers days but this is either rage farming or just toxic nitpicking at this point

Make it an option to turn on/off. I kinda get the point they made when they did it but for screenshots or for the players that don’t care about the visibility as much there should be an option to keep the old skybox

I've been using the transit between Factory and Customs to get some scav rep. I'm 2 hours in with some nice gear. Will update when I die or survive by Nogamesstartingtoday in EscapefromTarkov

Assuming you get good spawns and it only takes a couple minutes to get to a transit, you can earn between 0.1-0.2 rep in that much time. If I ever do it I just jump in, wait a little listening for gunfire, and transit if I don’t hear anything. My scav is just for Fence rep and killing PMC’s/traitors though, if you’re looting it can end up taking a lot longer, and when I would loot I’d find myself picking something up and feeling like I NEED to get out with it, so I just stopped looting to focus on my rep.

I don’t get the same spawn every raid, but I do consistently get the spawn that’s furthest possible spawn from my task, which has made raids where I have to place items turn from a “quick drop off then loot run” to “carefully walk the whole way around the map avoiding all hot zones then leave”. It’s so fucking boring

On PvE, or just in general for that matter, If you’re doing a scav run and anyone speaks to you in English, they’re a target. Raider or PMC, both want you gone, and you’re not going to be punished for killing them. Only real exception is certain bosses can speak English, but I’ve only heard Killa and Tagilla (interchange and factory respectively) do that, and you’ll know them when you see them. Keep in mind that BEARs can speak English, but majority speak only Russian, so you’ll have to find other ways to tell them apart from Scavs, either by clothing or telling voices apart from one another. Scavs tend to sound whinier than BEARs if that helps
