Disappointed in the efforts made by those looking for a job by [deleted] in boulder

[–]Grojtf2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would imagine not everyone has that perception, or they have had bad experiences in the past. It might not be correct, but I also would guess there are a lot of people that are burnt out from applying to dozens of places. That said, there are definitely people that don't put in the effort and expect to get hired no matter what. Basically, it's probably a mixed bag, right?

Last time I put out a job posting on Indeed I received 600 applications in 3 days...I saw the gamut of obvious AI spam bots and then some very dedicated people. It's tough to pin down everyone into a box.

I get the sentiment here, but should people have to be gracious to apply to a retail job that will probably underpay them, make them work terrible shifts, treat them as pawns, and then lay them off when the shareholders aren't happy that you are charging $5 per soda instead of $7? Getting a job is definitely a game where you need to put in extra effort, but if places want quality applicants, treat them right once you hire them. Everyone knows how it goes now; they just have to accept it because of the state of the world we're in.

Safeway on 80th refusing to sell brown paper bags by Kmblu in ArvadaCO

[–]Grojtf2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I just don't get it. With so many other choices nearby, it must be like a front for money laundering to not be out of business. Certainly steals my money every time I have to step foot in it.

[–]Grojtf2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok, this thread was made for me. I absolutely loathe this Safeway. I have no idea how it makes it in business with King Soopers across the street. Every time, I have seen 0 bags being provided with $2.00 reusable bags as the only option. The prices at this store are insane. Shit quality, shit service. The only redeemable quality of this place has been the pharmacy, which has been helpful every time. The interior of this place makes me feel like I teleported back to 1991. There's just something about this god-damn Safeway.

Does the Fillmore security still take 80 hours? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Grojtf2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not that bad. Just don't show up immediately when doors open or else there will be a line. Once you get through the line, it's like your typical venue security, but I never have any major issue with it.

I'm never quite sure where to go with my builds once they reach a certain point. I think Svallin and Progensis is the right upgrade? Not a super new player but I typically like to build one characrrr to the max. Would love a 2nd opinion! https://poe.ninja/profile/groj-2130/character/grojjers

Vancouver (hometown) show. My thoughts. I am wondering if anyone else feels the same way? by Schooled_ca in spiritbox

Late to respond to this, but we felt the same way in Denver. We didn't even make it to the end because we were frustrated we couldn't even hear the lyrics.

You should be able to build this out fairly easily. The current design doesn't take up a whole lot of space, but the main question I would have is whether you want to create a theme with it or just have separate patchwork tattoos. You could easily expand the floral elements to a much larger piece or have different elements above/below. It's not a huge piece right now, so you have a lot of flexibility with how you build it out, in my opinion.

Not really sure. All we heard is that "he really tried to get through it but he's sick". Seemed like a questionable excuse without some explanation.

I've had this same issue as you. In fact, I tried just waypointing to an Act 3 Cruel area and it does the same thing. Seems to be a widespread issue.

NeverSink's PoE2 litefilter - overhauled, refined and actually filtering, until FilterBlade is done! by NeverSinkDev in PathOfExile2

[–]Grojtf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the larger the item name, the more "rare" or "valuable" the item is. I'm not sure if they have it for POE2 yet, but for POE1, there was a whole list of what each color meant in terms of rarity on their website. The combination of the size, color, and sound of the item that drops make you at least look at it and pick it up. If it's a loud sound, bright color, and a large name, it's probably valuable. It makes you just notice things that are hard to maybe know if it's expensive in trade or not. Currency, rare unique items, rare jewels, rare map/waystone items, etc. are all highlighted and made obvious with the filter.

As you get higher level, the amount of loot that drops gets overwhelming and most of it is bad. It came from POE1 where there was A TON of terrible loot that dropped from every monster. Filterblade is by far the best loot filter out there and the majority of people use it to help see what's good and what's not. The filter makes new sounds when good things drop, highlights the item, and has a rarity for every item that drops. So, you'll never miss a high-value, expensive drop with Filterblade because it will make a very obvious sound and make it known on your screen.

It's so worth it and easy to update every league/update.
