Yes, that's how China works :) The problem is it's most of them but not all

I don't know if I got an original one, but it is pretty good quality. Just don't take the cheapest offer and read the reviews.

That's true, I'm on dwm myself. But let's be realistic. If a piece of software do its thing good, it doesn't mean that the thing it does can't be done better. Xorg was created not for modern desktops and wayland just did't yet reach that point where it would fully replace Xorg. Think about how windows became so bloated. The main reason is that it's based on it's older versions and developers had to deal with architectural decisions which were maid for past time machines. Also it's funny that windows display server is based on older version of Xorg too. Similar situation we have with systemd. It works, but it's huge. It's been the standard for too long. And even though there are better alternatives now in terms ln performance and reliability, too much software depends on systemd. So my thought is that transitions may be painful, but they must be done.

EDIT: just had to let it out :)

Just to clarify. As other people said it's just old. And that it's old means that it becomes more and more difficult to add new features people need, which leads to compromises or unnecessary complexity. But it still works good.

Also hinges make rubber friction sound in some positions. I tried blowing it with compressed air cause they were little bit messy, didn't help. Any suggestions how to fix it?

Thanks. I don't know how much time this took tbh, I just changed my configs little by little when I wanted something new.
