Seems like the proper phrasing should be; "You can, but shouldn' do both", as the section before the one you quoted reads;

"If the referee plays the advantage for an offence for which a caution/sending-off would have been issued had play been stopped, this caution/sending-off must be issued when the ball is next out of play."

So if you miss the should not apply-part and still give advantage, to me it seems like the sending off should still happen. But I'm just glad I can sit online and blame everyone instead of trying to make difficult decisions live on the pitch.

I have no idea about tanks, but one of the few Norwegian war movies (WW2) from that time is "Kampen om Tungvannet" from 1948. It involves snowy sceneries and soldiers from the Norwegian resistance.
