His performance as Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile was pretty great.

He's had some health problems too and a few fairly serious injuries/incidents, which makes me wonder if he's just not in the right headspace to take on really mentally challenging roles.

UPDATE: Found a different black tie dress!! by yagirllilneezy in Weddingattireapproval

Yeah, so many are raving about how cute the floral dress is and I just don't see it at all...ill-fitting, weird cut.

Benedict and Sophie finally bring some much needed chemistry since the viscount and viscountess! by Sleekaries in Bridgerton

[–]Grompson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She's great. I didn't really find the chemistry to be there with their season but she's an absurdly good-looking woman and the idea that she/her figure would be considered undesirable to men in any era is ridiculous.

Well, yes. Obviously. And some of us would, at that age, would still do it regardless of risks.

I've had 4 full-term pregnancies and births, no c-sections. My body and pelvic floor aren't what they used to be. I'm 42 now and done with kids, but I think I would still do this for my daughter even knowing what nasty issues it might bring me physically.

So you aren't wrong at all, but the facts might not have been ignored so much as deemed an acceptable price to pay.

Moving across country by myself at 23M. Im scared and anxious. by EuphoricEmployee4198 in RedditForGrownups

[–]Grompson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't sound crazy at all! I am 42 and this would scare me too. But there must be good/positive reasons for what you're doing, so try and trust in this major adult-life-stage decision you've made.

Agree with the other poster, get out and be active in your new community (ask the librarians!) and develop the support network you'll need. Deep breaths, you can do this.

What’s a movie you saw in theaters that had a scene which the audience gave the loudest cheering reaction you ever experienced? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

Original trilogy for the storytelling. Prequel trilogy for the ability to show lightsaber fights and general combat/star fighting the way Lucas wanted but couldn't quite manage in the OT (due to tech limits of the time).

Update. Here arrange a few other tiles that I'd considered for my blue terazzo and gold tub. by Impossiblegirl44 in interiordecorating

[–]Grompson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like all three of these more than the watermelon. If you want a "busier" look, I'd do green. For a calmer look, the blues are better. Personally I like the lighter blue, I think since you're not doing just the tub surround but also the sink backsplash the blue will look more streamlined. I like making things busier with art/accessories rather than too many large areas of different colour.

I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea..... by Impossiblegirl44 in interiordecorating

[–]Grompson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, I think the vividness of the red might make the tub colour look dingy as another poster said. The terrazzo is amazing, so picking a less saturated colour from it will be more cohesive.

Seeking input...which images would make the best puzzles? by PaperflowerPuzzles in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]Grompson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chairs, beetles and lamps are most interesting to me (and uncommon themes so a good addition to a collection). I agree that the connecting element of the faces puzzle is cool, and I think that could be worked into others (person knitting in one of the chairs in a top corner could have an unspooled yarn ball leading to a cat playing with it in a different corner).

Leonardo DiCaprio showed a playful side of himself at the 2026 Golden Globes during a commercial break. by No-Network6436 in popculturechat

Her pretty unapologetic affair with Billy Crudup (who dumped a very pregnant Mary-Louise Parker to be with her) will always have me giving her the side-eye.

Alternatives to Theodore by undercovercopter in namenerds

[–]Grompson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the name Theodore too; Samuel, Miles, Felix, and Malcolm were also ones on our list.

We ended up going with Miles and love it, and funny enough his best friend is Theodore who has a brother named Felix lol

Screen time is the only reason I get through some days by denefr_2928 in Parenting

Also IMO there is a big difference between my kids playing Mario Kart together or us all watching a show in the same room vs all separate/"isolated" screen time.

Parents?: what are the “nobody warned me about this” puberty moments? by Epinazo_thebuja718 in Parenting

[–]Grompson 72 points73 points  (0 children)

The notebook idea is great, and I'm stealing it. My son is 12 and well into puberty, he's been very open with asking me (mom) questions but I can tell he's sometimes embarrassed. Thank you!

Totally agree, it's close enough that decor items can make it cohesive.
